Hey I just thought that i'd tell everyone about something i tried today and it turned out to be super tasty.

if you want a creamier tasting oatmeal try adding some silken tofu into your oatmeal while cooking. it has a different texture and keeps you full and supplies you will extra protein and what not.

this is how i did it today:

1/3 cup oats, 2/3 cup soy milk, 1/4 packet of silken tofu, 1 banana thinly sliced and some peanut butter.

put all the ingredients in a saucepan and mush the tofu, banana and peanut butter into the oatmeal (use whatever flavours you want though) and stir on medium heat until its all hot. put it into your bowl and voila! creamy oats.

if anyone tries this i would love to hear your feedback on what it was like for you.

Sorry, I'm not a fan of tofu!  It might offend my oatmeal if I were to mix them together.  Wink
