TOM is over, but weight gain is still here... Is this possible?

Quote  |  Reply

Hey everyone. :)

My period ended on Wednesday or so, and when it started I saw a 2.5 pound increase (I was 116.2 on Saturday and 118.8 on Sunday). Two days ago, I weighed and was 117.8, so I thought the bloat was going away; today, however, I am 118.6.

Is this still menstrual bloating? Is it possible for it to fluctuate like that? I haven't eaten anything with high salt.

I'm worried that it's actual weight gain. I started school on Monday and have been more stressed out, and haven't been sticking to my diet as well.

Thanks!

Same here, my period end yesterday (well technically Wednesday night) and I'm still up 1.5 pounds. I think we shouldn't count in as a real gain until Sunday.

Sometimes, I carry the TOM weight gain for up to a week before suddenly, one morning I get on the scale and bam, lost it all plus one pound or two.
