I have tried it. This past summer I took about 3500mg (it was about five capsules) for 6 weeks. It did help cut down on my appetite A LITTLE... but also made me incredibly sick to my stomach. I tried taking the capsules with meals, before, after... with no difference. I know  this is a common occurence with CLA. I did not see any noticeable results. If you do some research with the studies, hardly any of the participants lose measurable pounds/inches.

I have tried a lot of different supplements and diet aides. So far, I haven't found any that were worth the money.

However, there are other benefits to taking CLA regularly beside possible help with weight managment. If you do decide to go ahead and try it, make sure to see how much CLA is actually in each capsule. I think Tonalin says 1000mg but actually only has 700-800mg.

Thanks for your imput.  Did you take it with milk?

I did not try it with milk. I can't remember the last time I even took a sip of milk!

The stomach upset was pretty severe though... I felt nauseated for a few hours after taking them (I took two or three capsules at lunch and dinner). That alone was enough for me to stop taking them.

My doctor recently gave me a prescription for Adepix but before I started taking it my blood pressure (which I never had a problem with) all of the suddent went into a frenzy.  So I was very glad I did not take them.  Needless to say, the pills are sitting in my medicine cabinet.

I have come to the conclusion only diet and exercise is the safest way to go.

Eee! Bad combo. Isn't adipex for people who have high blood pressure? I might be wrong.

After throwing away my money on fad diet trends, I finally started counting calories. I tried working out for 6 months with no results! I did 5-6 days a week, hour a day. It is so much easier this way and I am seeing real results.

Plus, I'm sure our bodies appreciate a natural way to lose weight!
