hey everyone. its weird but my butt is way out of proportion to the rest of my body. my waist and arms are skinny, but my butt is big. my brothers have small butts, and i cant see why i dont have one. but ive tried running and it has brought it down a little bit, but i quit running after about a month and a half b/c it was too time consuming and i have to start school soon. i just want to know of any glute toning tips so i can make my butt look smaller. and i also have another question. i eat healthy which is a good thing, but everyone tells me that i dont eat enough. i eat between 1500-1800 caloriesm a day and im 15 years-old. if someone could tell me great, fast glute toning tips i would really appreciate it.

The butt question! alot of people have the same problem (i had a huge booty a year and half ago) so i understand your situation. running helps alot but to get that extra toning i recamend the below.
1. Squats
2. Hip sled
3.Jump rope (not as good as first 2 but sure does help)
4. Short distance hard sprints (that intial boost you start with from a stop position is typicaly generated from the buns and muscles in the back of your thighs)
and about your cals its really dificult to say without knowing more about your lifestyle. but just keep in mind that you are growing so big cal deficits sometimes arnt the best thing at your age. stick to 500 cal deficits and youll be fine. dont go above that though. and another thing. DO NOT OBSESS! Younger people like you and me (im only 17 myself) are really prone to EDs that can come from counting cals. i started at 15 myself but i became unhealthy after a year of doing it cuz i was so obsessed. so just take it easy and dont get to caught up in it.

i do 2 sets of 15 no-bar squats a day. should i use a bar? and if i use a bar, how much weight should i put on it? and what is a hip sled?

thats a picture of a hip sled. and what i recamend you do before you try to do weights is 1. try doing whats called "jumping squats" lower yourself into the squating position and jump up from the squating position as far up as possible. these are good if you dont want to use weigh 2. have an experienced lifter teach you how to use the squat bar. if your form is bad you can hurt yourself in all kinds of ways.
