Top or Bottom?

My wife and I are always arguing over where the groceries go in the cupboards. Since we both prefer things at eye level, I tend to put the things I use the most at eye level (the top shelves) and she puts stuff she needs the most on the bottom shelves.

Where do you put away your groceries?

in Florida.

I put away the groceries and therefore my control-freak "system" (messy though it is) is always preserved. :)

Always on top.  It's the only spot I have.

Wherever I'll remember to retrieve them.

Both!!  I like to mix it up a bit.  :p

Bottom when I'm tired. Top when he's tired.

You know...there are LOTS more options than just top or bottom.  There is no reason to avoid all the other...ahem...cabinet spaces ;)

I have my kids put them away...that must make me really messed up!

He picks me up.... so that I can reach the top shelves.

Yeah but sometimes those are too small. Or too messy. Overall more trouble than they are worth. Except sometimes, when it's just the right thing to to. ;)

Eye level is good...the person doing the least amount of work should accomodate the one doing the most if it's all the same.

I doubt there's much to worry about on that score, Trust, considering the number of thread titles that contain the words sex, porn and pot.

My cupboards are high so my stretch shelf (very top near roof) is where i put my pasta, rice, noodles.

Middle shelf (top of my head height) is where i put all my tins, sauces etc.

Bottom shelf (eye level) is where i keep all the really tasty thing, snacks, seasoning, and so fore.

 Pshhhh!  Absolutely not!  It's her cabinet too, after all!  She's gotta deal with the mess as much as you do.

I was really saying that the one who does most of the cooking (in whichever room) gets to say where the necessary tools are positioned.
