Calling all Top Chef addicts!

Who do you all want to win? Right now, I'm rooting for Stefan & Fabio! I wouldn't mind if Jamie won. It would downright annoy me if Joseah or Leah did. Their drama gets on my nerves. & I'm pretty indifferent about Carla.

I'm totally in the Stefan & Fabio camp.  I really thought the final 3 would be them and Jeff so I guess that's just a reminder on how things can turn on a dime.  I like Jamie and Carla.  They're funny, seem to be more team players and I hope it's one of them that makes it to the top.  Hosea and Leah ugh... the drama...

I just love Carla.  She has imagination and spirit and cares about other people.  I haven't followed this season as carefully, but I'd say she's the better cook.

I thin it's between Stefan and Jamie... I think that either Leah or Fabio are next to go, Then Karla... I can't stand the Leah and Josiah drama they are not interesting to me, Josiah needs to get a real back bone and Leah needs to stop manipulating ppl... have you guys watched the 'Sequestered House' the cut scenes for the deleted pple...it's online so funny and they all seem to be real honest about what happens the house, they all hae a running joke on Leah and Josiah... I love the show!

So last night...

1) I'm not the biggest fan of Jamie, but I don't think she deserved to go home. I'm pretty sick of Leah sliding through the cracks. (this is the way it appears to me, however since she's still on the show - I would assume that a) she is a way better chef than she comes off or b) they're keeping her around for the drama factor to bring in more viewers) She doesn't seem to have her heart in the game anymore and am anxiously awaiting for her departure.  

2) I think it's kind of funny that Joseah kept on about how he owns a seafood restaurant, and how embarrassed he would be if he didn't win the quickfire challenge, and then didn't. Then in Anthony Bourdains restaurant where they had to recreate the fish dishes, & his was in the bottom 3. Oh the irony!

3) I'm glad Carla is finally getting some positive recognition for her cooking as well.

4) Stefan & Fabio being in the top 3, thus reinforcing my position on why I think one of them is going to win.

So what does everyone else think?

Liked Jamie's food and interpretation a lot more than Leah's. I think Jamie hurt herself with ambivalence toward the cuisine. Probably wasn't engaged enough through lunch.

Am interested by this new trend to return to 'classic' French cuisine - perhaps that's why Carla is shining a bit more.

While I like Josea, I think Stephan or Fabio is the clear favorite to win.

Carla used to model. Interesting.

Good job last night on the squab. Looked really delicious.

YAYE! Leah's gone! It's about time.

Fabio's such a trooper for his finger/hand problem and then winning the challenge.

I fell asleep halfway through because I'm such a granny lately and very tired since restarting classes. I can't believe the finale is next week already. It's depressing how soon it's going to end.

America's Next Top Model starts at the end of the month though.

I'm rooting for Carla! I love her personality. Though, I have a feeling Stefan will win.

Fabio deserved to win the challenge in the last episode. I was worried when he was having so much difficulty peeling potatoes.

Also---SO glad Leah is gone! She shoulda been booted a long time ago. Her utter lack of confidence and drive was irritating.

Not to mention the lame Hosea/Leah crap. *barf*

You'd have thought I was watching one of my sports teams win a huge game with the cheering when Leah FINALLY got the boot!  What a great episode this was though and I'm really glad also that Fabio hung in there.

 I totally agree. Jaques Pepin is the closest thing to cooking for Julia Childs. :)

I'm so glad that you posted this. For some reason the Bravo message boards will not let me post, even though i'm a registered member! and i've contacted the forums administrator like, 3 times already... grrr....

I would really like Fabio to win it, but i think its going to be Carla just because she's sort have been the "dark horse" in the competition. I do not think Hosea should win..blechh.

I agree Stefan is a good chef- but come on, he didn't KNOW he overcooked the salmon!!  Toooo much confidence and very arogant- I would love to see him put in his place.  I have loved Fabio from the start and it was good to see him win!!  Carla is growing on me although her facial expressions really freak me out!!  Josea seems like a nice enough guy, but he is really going to have to step it up to beat the others.  I didn't realize next week was the finalle, I thought they went down to the final 3?  Oh well, the next show I would like to check out is Chopped, with the guy from Queer Eye- and the Food Network Challenge is also very good too!

Always remember the old saying, handsome is as handsome does.  Carla may be the ugly duckling, but she has the heart of a swan.

I'm very depressed that he was kicked off last night. (I thought it was the finale this week, guess I was wrong) Did anyone else watch? Thoughts?

danielle854 - my thoughts exactly! I'm going to miss Fabio. He was the most entertaining, imo. Stefan didn't deserve to stay after the way he acted, but of course that might have been played up more than the reality.

Love that Carla prevailed. She cooks with love - best ingredient on the planet. :) Well, that and truffle oil. :)
