Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees - and I had NO HOTDOG!

Oh dear!

I just went to the longest ball game I have ever seen - Blue Jays vs. NY Rangers at the Rogers Centre in Toronto. The game took 3.5 hours and it was really really really hard to stand all those yummy things around me like popcorn, hot dogs, pizza, taco chips and what not!

But I made it!!! 

I brought 2 apples and a kohlrabi peeled and cut up and shared it with my friend and that was it! O.k. I had a big diet coke but seriously! The pizza smelled soooo good and the sweet potatoe fries were soooo crunchy but I am so extremely proud and happy that I didn't buy anything! 

:o) What a beautiful day! 

And now I had a really yummy beef tenderloin steak and fresh broccoli and mango chutney for dinner! So good and much much better than a fatty old burger or hotdog!

Good For You!!! I watched the game on TV,so I didn't have the temptation. I am a Yankee fan...sorry they lost. BTW I have lost 32 lbs and have changed my life style. I now get so excited over the taste of a  peach. Great luck on your healthy journey.

I am sorry NY lost! I was cheering for the Jays though and it was the first game I watched life that we actually won :o) which was really cool! 

Wow 32 lb that's awesome! I am just starting and the 2nd and 3rd week is usually the time that I give in - that's why I am so excited about being 'good' at the game today!

Great Job! I was at Mets/Cubs Friday night, and I did have a sausage, but I planned for it and worked it into my calorie count. My big victory of the night was when my friends came back with a huge fried dough that smelled like everything amazing, and I didn't even try one bite. I could hardly look at the stupid thing lol! Was v. proud of myself. :)

The very fact that I have not lost a pound in 2 weeks could be explained by me saying that I could not have resisted the hotdog.  :o)  Good luck and congrats to you!!!
