About Us
We eat food that makes our bodies function properly. We value fiber, superfoods, flax, whole grains, tea, antioxidants & omega 3s. We laugh at the "High Fructose Corn Syryp is your BFF commercials" and we have contracted a murder for hire on trans fat.We are ashamed to admit that we love to eat at Taco Bell and smart enough to share that months and months pass between visits. We exercise! We push each other to break out of our exercise comfort zone. Walk longer, stretch farther, do more and do it more intensely! Whether you are mastering a balance game on WII or training for your 1st 10k we cheer. Use your body as the marvelous tool it is

Americans seem to have mixed up the terms "healthy" and "diet" when discussing food. A "diet" food might help you lose weight but have the nutritional benefit of a thimble of sand. Some health powerhouse foods must be consumed in moderation or else their high calorie density will add pounds.

We have eliminated trans fat from our diet. We value whole foods, fiber, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, fruit, flax and other yummy things that make our bodies happy. We like to create our meal plans around real food we make and not around fast food restaurants or anything you heat in a microwave.

We believe in the power of exercise to make us stronger. Join if you want to ramp it up a notch. Running 3 miles every night? Develop a 6 month plan to train for a marathon. Sitting on the couch with a bag of baked soy and flax chips? Play WII Sports Tennis for 10 minutes and do 5 sit-ups.

Let's inspire each other to work out harder and more often. Let's share ideas, recipies and food...know of the latest antioxidant powerhouse? Do tell! Let's teach self-forgiveness when we fall short of the glorious relationship with food, exercise and our bodies we are hoping to have.
