Am I on Track? Do I need a boost?
Weight 7/12: 223
Weight 11/4: 190
Weight 6/28: 150 ???
Caloric consumption: 1500/Day
Exercise: Elliptical 33/Mins 400/Cals/Day
If I don't change a thing, will I reach my goal? I'm worried my weight loss will slow and I won't lose 40lbs in 33 weeks. Any suggestions? Is there a natural metabolism boost? I try for 60/20/20 (percent calories/fat/protien) and drink 2 cups of coffee, 8 glasses of water and 2 glasses of diet soda daily (I avoid alcohol.)

to meet your goal thats 40 pounds in 7 months which equals 5.7 pounds per month or a very doable 1.4 pounds per week. Is that a hhealthy amount of calories for your hieght weight age? Do you have a deficit of over 1000 because your body will kick into starvation mode.
I'm not really sure I have a good grasp for "starvation mode"
I'm not hungry, 1500 cals seems good to me. I think at my weight I can consume 2000 calories to maintain my weight. When I exercise I burn about 300lbs. So I think I'm only working a 800 calorie daily deficit.
starvation mode means you are eating too few calories and your body starts hording fat. How tall are you if you dont mind sharing?

I am 6' 237 Im not hungry at 1700 calories per day but thats WAAY lower then i need. I burn between 2800 and 3200 calories per day meaning i need to eat between 2000 and 2400 calories per day depending on activity level.
But i think you should be able to meet your goal.
