Transformers 2 was a terrible movie

Quote  |  Reply

unessarily lengthy, repetitive, meaningless and overated

I could never even get through the first one beginning to end without falling asleep or turning off the TV due to the repetitive computerize robot fighting boredom

I have no idea why I wasted my time going to the sequel... it was like being inside a geeks wet dream of giant robots and hot girls that he could never get with

there was like maybe 10 minutes of actual acting done in the movie.. the rest was all done on some nerds computer

it didn't even get very good reviews, most viewers were quite disappointed

(my boyfriend didnt even like it!! and that says a lot haha)

I want those 3 hours of my life back!!.. and my 10 bucks!!

Yell

It's called "Transformers," not "Deep Philosophical Love Story."  Get your dirty humans out of my massive, robot-filled nerd-gasm, thanks.

I hate love stories.. I knew exactly that it would be about transforming robots, duh. I'm not retarded thank you.

I'd just rather see a movie with at least some point to it, and not the exact same plot line as the first one... good robots vs. the bad robots from space that want to destroy the plant

Welcome to the plot of Transformers since 1984.

Lol@the Duhh Moment!!!

I can't say I'm as well-versed in the Transformers universe, but I came away feeling disconnected. I love giant robots and felt that with the exception of Optimus Prime and the Decepticons, they didn't afford the robots any respect. Too much infantile humor. (I know, I know, it's Hasbro, sheesh!) But when you have--what? 20 tons of giant robot, I think some awe is in order.

(I guess I'm just too old to enjoy seeing little robots humping some girl's leg.)

But that is a bit of a problem I always seem to have in a Michael Bay movie is a lack of empathy with the human characters. Not with Steven Speilberg, but it seems like he's less in touch with the movies he produces.

Still, I'd rather sit through any giant robot movie than something like Year 1. And I loved the change for Bumble Bee. I love the new Camaro! I guess there's rumors that the Corvette is the next gen (C7) for that model, IF GM keeps building them.
