Traveling next week with bad eater
Ok guys- I'd love some advice. I'm going on vacation next week with my boyfriend who eats what he wants- especially when on vacation. Does anyone have suggestions on how to deal with chosing restaurants, etc and ordering healthy while away? Also, how can one keep from being temped by the treats he orders while I sit across the table from him eating a much less tasty dish? bleh
I have the same problem. My bf eats whatever he wants whenever he wants and it is hardly ever healthy.
As far as being tempted by his foods what I usually do is order a side salad or soup or something and then I have a couple bites of whatever he is eating. As long as you bf is cool with that. Then I always makes sure that he puts his plate with the leftovers on the other side of the table or I will pick at it until its gone.
Traveling is hard. I usually try to eat granola bars or small snacks during the day and then go out to dinner. Eating out every meal is horrible for trying to eat low cal. Just try and make good decisions. Dont stress too much, it is vacation!! Spend some time being active, take the stairs, go shopping, swimming, site seeing.
Alcohol is always the hardest for me on vacation, I just try and drink lots of water and try and choose lower calorie mixer, wine and light beer.
