Treatments for Psoriasis

I've had psoriasis for over 30 years and I have tried countless medicines and remedies.  Nothing has work as well for me as Clobex Spray.  It clears my plaques quickly and completely and it take quite awhile for them to come back.

I had 10% of my body covered with plaques the first time I used Clobex and after 4 weeks I was completely clear.  9 months later I was still under 1% coverage.  After a year I used Clobex a second time for 2 weeks and again I was completely clear.

Has anyone else tried Clobex or have any other success stories?

What is Clobex? Do I need a Dr. to get it? Currently trying probiotics and liver detox herbs. Had this psoriasis for 30 years too. I HATE IT SO MUCH! I do not drink but I do smoke ciggs. I try to eat healthy and get enough sleep. I have tried lots of otc stuff and some prescription creams but haven't had any luck.

Yes, Clobex is a prescription medicine.  It comes in cream or spray and it is the spray that worked for me.

My dad has had psoriasis ever since he was in college, for 29 years. He's allergic to most medications, so he was never really a help to me on what I can take. I've had psoriasis on my scalp for 7 years, and I mainly use certain shampoos. What other medications are there and what works best?

I use Enbrel, and it is relaly effective.  It's also ridiculously painful.  Without insurance, it would cost over a $1000 a month.

It sounds like I'm pushing Clobex Spray but it has worked better for me than any other medicine and it can be used on the scalp.  It cleared my scalp completely in 2 weeks.
