A trick that worked for a LAZY person
Hi everyone, I was practically addicted to exercise (weights etc.) but it's so easy to STOP, and I did. The way I tricked myself into doing things again is this: I put a balance cushion (the pink kind filled with air) on the floor of the bedroom and every time I enter the bedroom I have to drop and do 20 sit-ups on this thing at my lower back. That got old fast so I put down my stretching mat and now mix it up with 20 push-ups. Only when I enter the bedroom, that is, and you'd be surprised of the frequency of this neccesity. Today I'll move my hand held weights and start doing deadlifts for my bottom that's gone south for the winter. If I can keep this up as a regular thing I won't be needing special free weights time at home or in the gym. My gut is already tighter! As a truly lazy person, I had to trick myself into working my muscles again. (by the way, I have still been walking the dog and using my treadmill, this is in regards to weights training/sit-ups/things I'd rather not do at all). I hope it can work for someone else out there! Nancy

I ought to put my balance cushion in the doorway to the KITCHEN! haha I'm already an exercise maniac but I'm glad you've found something that works for you! At first it sounded like you were giving advice on how to STOP exercising. lol
hehe, good on you for finding something that works!
Personally, I would probably end up sleeping on the couch more =P
