Have you tried these?
Oroweat Sandwich Thins 100% whole wheat
These are excellent, only 100 calories each. I love to toast them to have with eggs or for a sandwich. You can see if they are available in your area here: www.sandwichthins.com I've tried another brand but didn't like them as well.
Just thought I'd pass this along.
Oh yes, quite tasty with some nutella, or greek yogurt mixed with cocoa. Although for bigger sandwiches they are kind of small. I much prefer to use Arrowheat double fiber bread for that and make an open face sandwich.
UD
Pack them as a sandwich for lunch everyday at work!
a girl at work gave me one...didn't much care for it. kinda puny and not satisfying in my opinion. the taste is good but the size is not but then again it is 100 calories. :) thanks for sharing though!!
any good bagel suggestions?
yes I have...they're pretty good. I don't really like that they contain sucralose, though.
Am i missing something?
You can use these for a sandwhich, and have 100 cals. worth of bread. Or you could just use 2 slices of bread and get 140 cals. Is it even worth it to save 40 calories?
No, you're not missing anything. I just like these and thought I'd pass it along. lol
Some of the whole wheat breads have about 90 calories a slice, some even more. I'm on 1200 calories a day, so every little bit counts.
oh, ok. that makes sense =) I was just curious. Maybe I'll have to give them a try...

Perfect 10 bagel from WesternBagel. Too bad I can't find them locally here. :( You can order them online, but it's too expensive.

For bagels I get the Weight Watchers brand... they're kind of small but only 150 calories and totally kill bagel cravings. They're tasty too!

Those are yummy bagels but they're white...not my favorite...but they're really soft and yummy. I prefer sweet to savory... So reduced fat cream cheese with a bit of maple syrup mixed in...toasted. Yum yum yum! Making myself hungry :) I usually eat the mini bagels since there are tons of ww varieties and different flavors like cinnamon raisin and cinnamon spice.
I, too, am only consuming 1200-1300 calories a day, so have to watch bread calories. I eat Sara Lee bread, 45 calories a slice. It works fine for me for sandwiches. I can eat a whole BLT for about 200-210 calories. I also eat Sara Lee mini bagels. Currently have the blueberry ones, which are 110 calories each.
