Have you tried the new Chocolate Cherry Diet Dr. Pepper? What did you think?

I like it though a chocolate cola is a little odd to me.  There is another brand of this and the Dr. Pepper version is far better IMO.

DH and DS thought it was the worst soda they had ever tasted but I can see how a diet in need of a chocolate fix might find this helpul.

Has anyone else tried it?

Just tried it yesterday, as a matter of fact.  Not too bad.  But it leaves a bit of a strange after taste, or so I thought.  But, I will probably try it again, as I am a diet drink junkie!  lol

I dislike it. Besides, Dr. Pepper is SO acidic. I don't drink it for my teeth's sake.

I thought it was awful.  We still have a whole bottle in the fridge that is probably going to be thrown out.  It sounded great - but once I tried it - ew.

I think it's the chocolate that I didn't like - it's almost TOO sweet if you can believe that. 

I love it! It satisfies a chocolate craving for me. In fact, I have bought 3 boxes that I'm keeping in storage in case they stop selling it (it's marked limited edition).

Well..  I tried it.  I regret it.

My sister got some for my mom (a Diet Dr. Pepper junkie), and accidentally left it in the backseat of her car in -6 degree weather. She ran out to check on it the next morning, but it had already exploded, and it's now firmly embedded in her backseat, and none of us had gotten to try it yet. It just sounds strange to me. 

I LOVE Dr. Pepper, but that just sounds disgusting. It's kind of like those Pepsi Jazz things....Carmel cream, Black Cherry French Vanilla, and Strawberries & Cream ......just sounds soooo weird!

Eh I thought it was okay. I LOVE Pepsi Jazz lol; the strawberries & cream tastes like liquid pez. :D

It tastes like liquid Tootsie Roll ;)

 

I've tried it and was disappointed.. it seemed to me to smell really chocolately but taste like regular Dr. Pepper.  I LOVE the other kinda of Dr. Pepper (but am blanking on the name =/ )

lol i just saw the add about it for the first time. My mom was disgusted by i want to try it!!

I am deffinatly going to be looking for it at the grocery store when I go tomorrow....when I was a kid everytime we went to my grandma's house she had this chocolate soda.....I cant' remember the brand but we didn't have it in washington....might have just been a california thing....I like the strawberries and cream pepsi jazz...I figure if I don't like it my hubby might and if not then i will just save it for a party and then it might get drank.....

i think it tastes EXACTLY like those cherry tootsie pops.

 i don't know if i like it though...its..eh, alright.

and yes those Jazz Pepsi's are to die for! I can't wait for the next flavour...

I tried, and I agree, it does leave a bad taste in your mouth.  I think there's too much chocolate taste and not enough cherry flavour.

 

I've never tried it and I dont think I will.  Does anyone remember the vanilla dr. pepper from a few years back?  I've looked every were and I cant find it, not even on a discontinued flavor list.  I loved that stuff!
