Personally, when I started Real Fast Fat Loss back in Janurary I wasn't sure what to expect; I thought it would be possible to increase strength on the program.
In a way that's true in as much as I did strengthen the weakest synergists in some of the lifts, thus removing some limiting factors, but maximal strength didn't increase that much.
However, I lost 17lbs in 11 weeks - admittedly part of that is due to the modifications I made after week 8 to make the exercises and the workout harder, but overall I must say that the program design lives up to the name.
One of the keys to making the program work is to not be too concerned with the absolute poundage you're lifting in the exercises. The real magic happens due to the oxygen debt you're building up in the circuit portion, and if you go too heavy you can't keep the rest periods down. If you go 4-5 seconds over it probably doesn't make much of a diference, but if you extend rest periods from 30 seconds to 60 on account of going too heavy on the exercises you're actually limiting the results you're going to see.
Also, I noticed that my athletic conditioning and aerobic/anaerobic capacity increased in leaps and bounds at the start of the program - so it might be a useful template for your workouts if you're looking to increase athletic conditioning and work capacity as well, even if that was rather unintended by the program designers.
Anyone else tried this and have experiences they want to share?
