How can I trim the fat from my mid-back?
Asked by boltsgal on Jul 23, 2009 in Fitness

I am trimming down with cardio and strength-training, but when my arms are at my sides, I still feel the bulge under my arms above the bra line.  How can I get rid of that?

Answer

Back fat is just the layer of fat under the skin that covers your back.  Melt it away by continuing to lose weight through a low calorie diet and by burning calories with exercise.  When you workout, be sure to weight-train the muscles of the back, as well as the muscles of your chest, shoulders, midriff, and waist.  Maximize calorie burning by shaking up your cardio routine from time to times with interval training and cross training.
