Trippy! Do you see the dancer going clockwise or counter clockwise?

My bosses wife called me in the office earlier today to ask me if I saw the dancer going clockwise or counter clockwise. Check it out and let me know.

Right brain vs Left brain Test

I'll let you know mine when I get a few answers. I just don't want to alter your thoughts. 

I seen her going both directions.  When I first seen it she seemed to be moving counter clockwise.  I looked away from her to read some of the text and when I looked again she seemed to be rotating the other direction.  I watched for a little while longer and at varying intervals it seemed like she would just switch direction.  I guess I'm odd.  :P

she does it for me too! I can flip her pretty fast, but its way weird. I think we're just normal. At first she was going clockwise (i think i'm just more right brained) but I have her in my control. LoL.

I was just tripping out on it so much thought id share the link. Hope more people get to see what i'm talking about.

tractorizer:  if you look toward the bottom left she'll switch directions and vice vera with the right.  I had her twitching!! lol

I think that's pretty neat!!

The dancer changes directions.  I actually saw her go from clockwise to counter-clockwise.  It is pretty cool, but I wouldn't use it as "proof" that you are left or right brained.

I'm so right brained!  But I already knew that.  And to think I survived a career that involved almost all left brain thinking!  No wonder I don't miss it one little bit.

I can only see counterclockwise and cannot for the life of me make it change or even understand how to do so. Makes sense though for my career I am in a super logic based career.

Is this for real or a joke? I am unable to understand how if I see it one way someone else can see another? I want two people to see it differently at the same time, same computer to prove to me it's not a hoax. I think it's a scam.

I swear its real. If you get like 3 people in a room with you, some will see it go one way and some another. I know ive sent the link to a few friends and they're like "its rigged" but its SO not. Its kinda a major head trip.

I'm with you, nycgirl.  I can't possibly see how anyone could see this going clockwise.  I guess I'm left-brained then.

nycgirl, I'm with you.  I can only get her to go counter-clockwise, and don't get how anyone is getting it to go any other way...maybe that's why this calorie counting thing is working for me...since it is predominately math and logic based :)  I just graduated from college with my BA in accounting, so having to make numbers work for me is a really good fit. :)  Of course, all the lovely people are great too..

And to those that see the dancer go clockwise, congrats on being able to fully use your imagination...I wish I could!

Heehee!  I had her twitching too!  Way cool.  I first saw her going counterclockwise, though, so I guess that's the one that "counts" - which makes perfect sense for me.  Fun!

Originally, counter-clockwise, but then she was moving all over the place.

I don't think this test has anything to do with whether or not you are right- or left-brained, though.  Simply perceiving the motion of the figure is not correlated to any of the characteristics mentioned in the narrative.  It's just a silly illusion, and who knows?  Maybe she does change direction randomly and this whole thing's a hoax.

first time i looked it was clockwise, then as I was reading the text, I saw it changed to countercockwise. I reloaded the page, went on another site, then back to it and it was still countercockwise

Hmm, i can only see it going clockwise... (because she is, by the way her thumbs and curves act while she is turning).

Yeah I only see clockwise and so does my boyfriend.. we're both artists.

it's just a scam. I was watching it at the same time as my mom (she's in a different town) and we both saw it switch at the same time. It just randomly switches directions.

I watched it for a while and never saw it switch?...
