Help!!  I want to create a new recipe and the analyzer gives me all red flags except for the water that I am adding...

The recipe 1 Cup Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix

&nb sp;           1/4 Cup Herbalife Formula 1 Nutritional Protein Mix Vanilla

       &nb sp;           1 Cup Water

The first two come with a red flag, even though I can find them to log onto my food log, no problem.

Please help, if you know how to solve this, Thank you!!

I had trouble with this too. The real directions are pretty well hidden. From the Tips on recipes:

You can specify any item from our database to be used as an ingredient by entering its ID in square brackets

1 cup milk [88683]

So how on earth do you find that number?? Go to the Food Browser and find the item. Click it. The numbers are at the very end of the URL. Add them as directed above and it works!

Thank you!!  I couldnt find out how to get the number!!!!!

Thanks so much!!

The # is in the address bar when you search the food.   Say you look up milk, this is in the address bar:   http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-milk-l owfat-fluid-1-percent-i1082

So 1% milk's item # is 1082

Edit - oops, someone beat me to the answer!

katie, do let me know if you are able to get that recipe in.  If you have any other problems, don't hesitate to send me a message.   The Analyzer is tricky, but once you've mastered the basics it gets easier and is such an awesome tool.

Thank you!!

Still working on the kinks, still getting a yellow for the pancake Mix

You may be entering in an item it knows but the quantities that you and it are measuring are not compatible.  For instance I tried to enter 1 tilapia filet but it needed me to enter 4 ounces tilapia (1 filet).
