Having trouble with Asian Foods again... r/o >>

Quote  |  Reply
I'm trying to add calories to my food log for the 4 small chinese fish balls I ate with my lunch, but I can't find any information about their caloric content (had these at a restaurant).

Also, I want to add in a calorie buffer of about 200-300 cals in my food log just so I have something to "place" the fish balls, but I can't find out how to do this.

Any suggestions?

I'm surprised one of the regulars didn't answer this one sooner - in your food log, on the right top there is a place to add "a particular food" Just open it, describe it as misc and enter the number of calories you want to pad your log with. Skip the rest.

I know we are supposed to log carefully, but I find this handy if I've been taking a few too many "nibbles, bites and bits" which still add up.
I had a similar problem today for my kani salad, so I just went to the recipie section and put in the ingredients. I was surprised not to find the caloric content not just here, but even on google (kani salad calories returned no real results). I thought this was strange because at least here in NY, it's a pretty popular dish at sushi resturants.
The packing of my fishball (medium size) says 84 for 3 balls.  I hope this helps.
