what is your "trouble" food?

Quote  |  Reply

Like, what food do you have an extra hard time saying no to?

I get sick after sweets, so they're not a problem for me.

Mine are:

Dr. Pepper - a total life long addiction

Pizza rolls - I just can't explain how disgustingly addicting these little pockets of fat are.

and white rice - I used to think "oh, its healthy!" my favorite food ever. And very high in calories too. I used to eat 2 or more cups a day. ugh.

Sometimes I wish they were never invented.

So what are yours, and how do you resist the urge?

Sweets.  I can easily finish off a theater size box of candy in one sitting and those things can easily equate to 600 calories or so.

That is my only enemy.  I'm not really big on other stuff...oh, and Golden Corral as a whole lol...I go in there and don't know how to act around all that mac n cheese and banana pudding!

Kashi GoLean Crunch.  Brrrr...

Fresh, warm DONUTS-chocolate covered and glazed. Snowflake Donuts (local) makes the BEST donuts ever--and I can't remember the last time I had one. I can't even THINK about them. Can't have them in the house.

Chips and green sauce at the local TEX MEX

Any kind of bread w/ whipped butter. Saltgrass Steakhouse is my favorite.

Filet-o-fish and McDonald's french fries (when cooked perfectly w/ extra salt!) YUM!

Pizza and cheesy bread. I HATE it when my husband wants pizza. I can't resist it.

Any kind of homemade dessert

ok now I'm hurtin'.

candy, things like jellybeans, swedish fish, gumballs.

i'm a sugar addict, not good..

cant believe no one has said trailmix.... chocolate, sweet fruits, salty nuts... i used to eat 2 cups... as an afterschool snack, 1600 calories later!

oatmeal and cereal

chocoloate

dried fruit and nuts

Ice cream is the worst for me, and we always have it around...

Chocolate

Basically anything sugary

English muffins (usually with tons of butter)

And pizza. I can absolutely never say no to pizza.

Peanut butter and jam sandwiches. I've remedied this by using rice cakes and treating peanut butter as a protein rather than a thing to randomly shove in my mouth. Also, Nutella. I ate a jar of it last week. I'd never had it before, and it's so DELICIOUS. These things I have problems with if I'm hungry and isn't much else in the kitchen.

Ice cream.

Americanized Chinese food and fried rice.

Chocolate!!

Pizza.

Chicken in any way, shape or form.

Mozzarella and feta cheese.

Strawberries and bell peppers are also irresistible, but more healthy.

oh man.

chocolate is a big problem. I can't resist. Especially milk duds or ghiradelli.

Pizza. also a problem. It's also really hard when you go with a bunch of friends after a football or basketball game.

Swedish Fish.

Garlic Bread.

I try to resist them, but when that fails I'll just break off a little bit and throw the rest away or give to someone that way I can't pick at it.

Typical fatty "junk" food is easy for me to avoid. Pasta and rice are the things I can't get enough of. My favorite foods are grains and full of carbs. No fat, but so many calories. But I absolutely refuse to give up grains entirely, I've already limited bread consumption.

Chocolate. Especially Maltesers and Terrys chocolate orange.

Cereal. I find it so hard to have the correct serving. Be it cold or hot, it's delicious.

Spicy doritos.

Cake. All cake.

Carbs Carbs and MORE CARBS!!!!

Anytype of bread-like desert  i.e. patries, cookies, brownies YUMMM

Bread

Pasta

Fries

Potatoes (yummy mashed)

Noodles

....my weakness is definitley carbs....or anything remotley carb-y

CEREAL! Even the most boringest bran kinds. I think its some thing about the cold milk and crunchy carbs :].

Also any kind of cookies, brownies, cakes, desserts, i cant get enough of them.

BREAD! Why is it so good?

Any kind of nut butter. I can eat spoonfuls at a time and not even realize im consuming hundreds and hundreds of calories.

Two words: "macaroni" and "cheese"

its like i have an addiction...

Hmmm, I gotta say the worst for me is probably any kind of bread or rice. I crave it all the time!!!

I don't really have a hard time with sweets, but I am a carbohydrate addict (bread). Bread is definitely my biggest weakness and I am trying to decrease my carb intake as I know that I have a problem. A few nights ago I ate half a loaf of bread. I used to be really small, but have gained weight since being at college. I don;t really want to lose the 16 pounds that I have gained but I want to be healthy.

pies/cakes/ice cream. I can ignore them and just walk right by them, but once I take a bite, I just can't stop.

also, leftovers. I can eat a normal sized serving at dinner the night before, but once I have some cold out of the fridge the next morning, I can't seem to stop going back for more.

pasta too

but really, it's all the same. you can place it in front of me and I can just not eat it, but once I take a little bit, I just keep eating!

Oh so many. Mainly chips though, we keep those outta the house now though thank god!

Peanut Butter =]

ooh im like the opposite...

My top trouble foods are chocolate in general, cookies, brownies, apple pie/crisp, cake, basically any type of dessert/ pastry lol

Luckily though I don't have a problem at all with salty things like chip
