Trying to find calorie count for a recipe?
So I'm making this recipe, but I don't know how to come up with the calorie count.
The chicken breast is 90 calories for every 4 oz. There are 10 servings in the container.
Can of tomatoes and chiles (1/2 cup for 20 cal). 2.5 servings in a can.
2 tsp taco seasoning for 20 calories.
One onion for 64.
I just threw everything in a pan and I'm simmering it for a while. I know it's not super healthy or anything, but I'm indulging tonight. Can anyone help me find the calorie count? I'll eat 4-6 ounces of chicken. But I can't figure out how to count up the veggies and seasoning and such. I'm confused!
ETA: The recipe analyzer is not helping.
I don't understand your question. You already have all the values, just add them up. Am I missing something?
I usually add it all up, divide the finished recipe into equal servings (I actually will divide into containers if there are going to be leftovers) and then do the math per serving.
I need the calorie count for each serving. I threw too much chicken in the pan, there's no way I can eat it all. Does anyone have a way for me to figure out the calorie count for a 4-6 ounce portion of it?
Thanks, lynnmmm. I guess I'll just have to do that.
Go under the food tab and click on new recipe. Even if you don't want to save the recipe it will let you add a serving to your day and it tells you the calories for one serving. That's how I do it if I just throw things together.
Hope it helps!!!
