Trying to gain weight/muscle

Not finding any threads about this topic.  I'm new here, trying to track my nutrition more closely to see how much more I need to eat in order to gain muscle mass over time.  I work out at least 4 times a week, mostly weights, but do not see much growth, and I think my diet is the limiting factor. 

Anyone else, probably guys, in the same situation as me?  Or have tips?

try searching the fitness forum, there are many people who are trying to build mass and gain weight. In order to build muscle you need to have a calorie surplus, so consuming more than you're burning.

Do you currently count calories? if so how much do you eat? if not, then it's not necessary to start, simply eat more. Try adding 2 more eggs to breakfast, have an extra tbsp of peanut butter on a peanut butter sandwich after a workout. Try eating more whole grains and lean protein. The key is eating enough WHILE weight lifting, otherwise you won't see any gains.

Yea I already use bodybuilding.com, just using this for the calorie counter.  Figured there would be some other guys trying to bulk on the forums here, but even the weight gain forum is mostly underweight ladies trying to get back to normal, from what I've seen.  O well thanks for the replies

Try poking around in the fitness forums...you may find it easier for people to relate there instead of in the hew member forum.

Look for melkor...he always has advice!

Im using the weight gain forum constantly. Dont let the long hair in my picture misguide you. Im a guy and going for the same goal as you.
