Trying to loose my last 10 lbs

Quote  |  Reply

I have lost 24 pounds and have another 10 to go to reach my goal weight. The first 24 dropped like crazy but I hit a brick wall on my last ten pounds. I have had one set back after another. Three different medical concerns all not related. The last one is a hernia that I need surgey to repair. I had been running 6 to 8 miles 4 times a week. I had to stop. I am hoping to have my surgery as soon as possible so I can get back on track. Through out these set backs I have found it very difficult  not to over snack. I just am taking it one day at a time. I am watching my calorie intake and waiting to see the surgeon to see what excersises I can do before my surgery and after surgery just to keep me moving in the right direction

I'm sorry to hear about all your challenges. I also am on my last 10-15lbs and facing a few challenges. I suffer from hypothyroidism and depression both of which contribute to weight gain so its already hard enough for me to lose. Hopefully your surgeon will give you some good news and you can get back to doing something. Good luck. I'm around if you need to chat.

Thanks, I am sure everything will go well at the surgeon. Sometimes I feel that these challenges can make us stronger and there are those times you feel like whats the point of all the effort. I hope your challenges are not stopping from reaching your goal. Thanks again for your support.
