Tryn to lose 20-30lbs...
Hello!
I'm a 23 yr old female, 5'8" and 165 lbs. I've been hitting the gym 6 days a week, sometimes twice a day, a total of about 4 hours per day for about a month. My problem is I'm not losing any weight instead I've gained. I'm not eating very much and I know this because I do count every little thing i put in my mouth and I'm a very healthy eater.
I just don't understand why I'm gaining and not losing. It's really frustrating!! Any feedback would be wonderful!
4 hours a day is a LOT of exercise. And if you aren't eating a lot... my guess is your metabolism has slowed down, hence no weight loss.
Have you put your stats into the CC calculator, and seen how much you burn in a day (remember you burn calories all day long, not just at the gym)? Look to eat only 500 less than you burn.
Are you keeping your metabolism going by having your regular snack? Eating six times a day is important. Your snacks should be included in your daily calorie count.
I BURN 4,000 CALORIES A DAY. SOMETIMES MORE IF I HIT THE GYM TWICE. I EAT AS OFTEN AS I CAN THROUGH-OUT THE DAY. I DONT THINK IM TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION THE MUSCLE I HAVE BUILT. I TAKE MY MEASUREMENTS ONCE A WEEK AND I HAVE LOST INCHES BUT THE TIPPING SCALE IS KILLIN ME! I'VE COME TO THE CONCLUSION TO STAY AWAY FROM THE SCALE AND WORRY MORE ABOUT MY INCHES..B/C NO ONE BELIEVES I WEIGH AS MUCH AS I TELL THEM I DO ANYHOW. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!
im not sure but i think the more you excercise the more cals you need to eat so that your metabolism can jump start. Your excercising so much but your eating very little you need to eat more but in moderation. Dont eat 3 celery Sticks and go work out for 4 hours i dont think that would be wise you need to eat somthing more filling like a turkey sandwich but like i said im not sure but thats what i think
