So I have a random question, is their any way you can fry canned tuna to make a patty of some sort?  I have so much of it at home and I know it is lower in calories so I was loking for some ideas ...any out there?

I made this one time and it was really yummy, but I don't measure things when I am cooking, usually, so you might have to just guess at the amounts.  Sorry.  Here it is:

1 can tuna, drained

mayo

shredded cheese

bread crumbs

egg whites

Mix all ingredients together until they are the consistency that you can shape into slightly sloppy patties.  Fry in pan.  Yummy!
Sounds great thanks!
Ewww....I tried cooking already cooked tuna and it was a disaster.  It smelled up the entire house.

i mash up the tuna really well, mix with some egg, fat free mayo, breadcrumbs and tons of chopped onion.  season it up as you like (salt, pepper, i add garlic and paprika) then fry in a dot of oil.

these fishburgers are delicious on a whole wheat bun with some lettuce and tomato.  awesome substitute for ground beef or turkey.
Sounds good, about how many calories do you consider for one patty then?
I made a tuna patty tonight and it was pretty good I just used egg white, tuna 1can and five saltine fat free crackers...it was okay, I think it could have used onion and the mayo like you all suggested but I was out but I will be making the patty again it was filling and delicious!
you can make a salmon loaf just like meat loaf but with canned salmon... wonder if it would work with tuna!!! mmm
I take a tin 185g of tuna in brine/water drained. mix with 1 egg, some fresh chopped coriander, 2 slices white bread whizzed into breadcrumbs, and 1 teaspoon of red thai curry paste. make into four patties and fry in fry-light spray for a few mins each side. Serve two patties with sweet chilli dipping sauce. I calculated two patties and teaspoon of dipping sauce to be about 240 calories. These are really yummy - my daughter aged 11 eats them!
something totally different with tuna

bring 2 cups water to boil add 1 chicken boulion/disolve some garlic saltpepper blend spice, 1 can of chunk white tuna in water(drained)

a different kind of soup, tastes like chicken!!!! LOL

I've even added peas or carrots to this recipe, under 300 cals

don't knock it till you try it

I use wheat bran instead of bread crumbs.... and just a "shot" of egg whites, just enought to make the ingredients bind.

It helps if you leave the patties in the fridge for a couple of hours so that they set
