Turbo Jam 10 Day Challenge!

The 10-Day Kick Start is part of the first edition of Turbo Jam. It contains the Learn & Burn, 20 Minute Workout, Turbo Sculpt, Cardio Party (Mix 1) and Ab Jam. The 10-Day program is Two days of Cardio Party then 1 of Turbo Sculpt two days of Cardio Party, etc. You exercise everyday during the program. There is a brochure that comes with the DVD's that has a "suggested menu for each of the 10 days and also which workout to do.

I sure all is welcome! Im going shopping a week before to get the things for the diet. I am going to follow the meal plan with the program even if it means eating things I may not like or never had before this is cool!

Hello, I'm interested. I'm trying to lose 15 lbs.
I got mine from Amazon.com it was 29.00 its the first one that came out it have 5 workouts and comes with a meal plan. They are also sold on beachbody.com for a whole lot more its a great program.
I got my copy from ebay for $10.

... And with ebay the auctions can get quite outta control. I have purchased alot of my workout dvds on ebay though....

I was going over the meal plan, It looks simple enough to do a lot of chicken and fish and the workout are 45 minutes long im already doing the 20 min and ab jam just to get my body use to the moves. The 20 min really wipes me out! I need to get the sculpting gloves I think they have some at walmart ill have to check. anyway im ready to jam!

Have you all gotten your video's yet? and if so have you tried them? Its almost time to Jam! I didnt buy the sculpting gloves because I have some ankle weights that I can use on my wrist that serves the same purpose I can change the weigh for 1-5 pounds and the sculpting gloves are only 1 pound each and I can use mine on my ankles for a awsome leg workout during the kicks so this is better for me.
Next week I will go get my whey powder and other items needed for the diet part of the plan I am so excited to start the complete challenge I want to see the results!

I got my dvd today.. checked it out & I'm SO ready! BUT.... I didn't get the 10-Day Kick Start... I have all the workouts just not the guide. Could you share with us the specifics of it?
From your previous post, I see it's 2 days of cardio party then 1 day of sculpt for 10 days... is that it? (Besides a healthy diet..?)

Here are the tips. 1. Eat fresh, eliminate processed food.
This means anything semi or fully prepared that comes in a box, bag or can is OUT!! I trust us to use common sense on this one.
Tuna is a go, potato chips are out.
Bag salad is okay, cookies are a no-no. Brown rice, yes. Low (or NON) fat yogurt, good.
Whole grain cereal, fine. Packaged foods, processed foods - try to avoid them. (This means, tv type dinners too.)
Some of us can't but the goal is to eat more unprocessed foods and be aware of what IS processed.
2. Get rid of white products; flour, pasta, sugar, rice etc.
This is right there with the processed foods.
This means nothing white (unless it's a peach?) No white rice, bread, pasta (including egg noodles), sugar.
At least for the 10 days.
These are nothing more that sugar in your body - GO FOR WHOLE GRAIN OR WHOLE WHEAT.
3. Increase your raw food intake.
Again, hand in hand with #1 and #2. Fewer processed foods means you'll have to get your calories from somewhere, look to raw foods.
Fruits and veggies.
You don't have to eat them raw of course, just UNPROCCESSED.
Don't eat green beans out of a can, buy them fresh and boil them.
It's a HUGE differance in nutrient content.
Eat your fruits and veggies "raw" rather than canned.
4. Cardio every day, strength train 3 times per week.
On a couple days double up your workout.
With the workout above or the RYUR, you'll manage this no problem...
5. No eating after 7pm. Sounds simple, until you try it! It's a biggie and you will notice the difference.
6. Keep a food journal with an accurate calorie count. The point is to SEE what your eating. Most of us eat little things here and there, just a bite but don't count it - THEY COUNT! Keep a food journal, just for the 10 days and write down EVERY bite that goes in your mouth.
It's a revelation sometimes when you add up the calories.
Fitday.com has a calorie counter if you're not on MyBeachbody's plan.
You can enter your calories daily or keep track and just give me the daily count after 10 days.
7. Downsize, eat smaller portions. This doesn't mean to KEEP downsizing until there is nothing left.
Again, common sense, to ACTUAL portion sizes.
Try measuring your food and see how much 1/2 c. cereal really is.
It makes a big difference.
I know I'll be measuring during the 10 days.
8. Eat every 2 ½ to 3 hours. Like I said, if you have the 10 in 10 Plan, it follows this.
It keeps your metabolism (and hunger) in check. That doesn't mean full meals but small, portion correct sizes for 3 meals and 2 snacks a day.
9. Identify your Achilles heel. (your weakness) Is it junk food, eating late, emotions? Fight the enemy by knowing the enemy.
If your prone to emotional eating, don't go into the kitchen when you're upset. Figure out your trigger and put the safety ON!
10. No alcohol. Guess there's really no explaination needed here...
11. Increase sleep by 1 to 2 hours each night.
I CAN'T WAIT TO GET A FULL 24 HRS!!! This is in because a)our body needs the rest time to recover and b)we all know we don't usually get 8 hrs a night.
We won't lose weight/inches if we don't give our body time to recover, especially on a heavy workout schedule like this.
12. Take a daily mulitvitamin. No diet gives us all of our nutrients, so this will supplement in some we're lacking.
Do this for 10 days and you will notice a difference in your energy level.
