What do you think about Turbo Jam Workouts?

Quote  |  Reply
I am considering purchasing the Turbo Jam Workout set, it comes with several different videos and they look fun and like something that would keep me interested.  It is kinda expensive 59.99 and was wondering if anyone else uses these videos and could give me some feedback.  Thanks.

Turbo Jam? I LOVE IT! if you like fast pace, high energy, high spirited, and fun exercise then this is your game. It is a bit aggressive (with all the punching and kicking), and some think the trainer is too perky. But she is my kind of gal to keep me going.

As for the cost, go check ebay. You find good deals there and don't need to purchase the whole set. Try one first, and see if you like it. I suggest the DVD that contains Learn & Burn - Turbo Sculpt - 20 min workout.  Why? that DVD shows you the basic moves, a short and sweet cardio to start your day that can serve as warm up for any weight training, and a well rounded 45 min weight training that works your WHOLE body!

Thanks for the reply.

I think I will check out ebay and get the one you suggested.

Too funny that you just posted this, because I actually have the Turbo jam site pulled up on a seperate window.  I am very uncoordinated sometimes, so I was wondering if it would be good for me!

I know several people who absolutely love it...

But for me, I just couldn't get the hang of it looking at the instructor and having to do a mirrored opposit move.  I would have found it easier to follow if the instructor or some of the "class" had their back to the camera so I could see exactly what I was suppose to be doing.

But I guess I'm just a spaz!

Laughing....jem599....you cracked me up.

Me too!  I just do it backwards that way it doesn't get confusing.  Maybe you could try that.

hi there!  i have the turbo jam workouts and my husband just started the P90X workout through the same company.  it does take some getting used to but once you have the basic moves down you will fly right through all the workouts.  it's pretty amazing how fast it goes!!!  getting up off the couch was the hardest part of the workout for me...but once i did i'm not going back.  i'm actually a coach now through million dollar body (the company who owns all the fitness programs) and it helps me and other people wanting to get in shape out so much.  sort of like this website but you have exact meal plans and you can log on and work out online with other people at that exact time doing the exact same thing.  i don't like to put this out there but here is what my coach page looks like.  (removed link per guidelines). look at it and who knows maybe we will be working out together sometime :)  keep up the good work everyone!!!
