I couldn't distinguish the number of lettuce leaves -- approximately 8. I like two leaves per burger, but you might like more or less. Warning: these are addictive! Great for entertaining and for feeding your Paleo kids! (PS - you might like these with grilled onions!)

Recipe Ingredients for Turkey Burger Lettuce Wraps with

8 oz (raw) Ground Turkey
2 oz Goat, Soft Type Cheese
1 egg Cage Free Organic Eggs
0.13 cup Parsley
2 1/2 grams Crushed Garlic
4 oz Red Leaf Lettuce
1 cup Shredded Carrots
1 cup Food You Feel Good About Alfalfa Sprouts
2 tsp Brown Mustard, Organic
2 tbsp Syrups, Maple
1/4 tsp Cayenne Pepper
2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, Unfiltered, Organic

Recipe Directions for Turkey Burger Lettuce Wraps with

  1. Burger:

  2. Combine ground turkey, parsley, garlic, and goat cheese in a bowl. Form into four oblong patties.

  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet on the stove top. Place the turkey patties in the pan, turning them every so often until they are brown on both sides and cooked through. Set the patties aside.

  4. Sauce:

  5. Place the mustard, maple syrup, cayenne, vinegar, and lemon juice in a bowl. Use a fork to mix the ingredients thoroughly. If you are making a larger batch, the food processor or blender might be a good bet.

  6. Assembly:

  7. Lay out two lettuce leaves and top with alfafa sprouts and shredded carrots. Add the turkey burger and roll everything into a handy little bundle.

  8. Enjoy!
