| 1/4 | medium onion, diced finely |
| 1 | green pepper, diced finely |
| 1 | tsp garlic |
| 1 | lb ground turkey |
| 2 | tbsp chili powder |
| 32 | oz dark kidney beans |
| 14 1/2 | oz diced canned tomatoes |
| 8 | oz tomato paste |
| 1 | tsp salt |
| 1 | tsp sugar |
| 1/2 | tsp pepper |
- Brown the ground turkey with the onions and the green pepper.
- Drain the fat from the turkey and vegetable mixture.
- Add the remaining ingredients and let simmer over a low flame for 30 minutes.
