Is it just me?  I haven't posted in a while, and honestly I only want to lose the last 5 or 10 pounds.  I would be happy with either, honestly.  While studying for the bar, I did NOTHING but study, and work out.  I worked out 5 days a week and really watched what I ate.  I "lost" 2 pounds that immediately came back.  So someone shed some light.  What the heck is going on.  Stats:  30 Female; 130 at last weigh in; 5'2 I eat between 1400 and 1600 cals a day depending on if I work out.  I don't think I am fat, I just want to lose the last few pounds.

My doctor told me not to eat more than 1200 calories per day. Even with me working out 5x a day! Also, she said the cereal I was eating for breakfast (Rasin Bran) had too high sugar.

I meant to say 5x a week. haha

Really?  1200 cals?  Thats it?  That seems kinda low, but maybe I am eating too much and thinking it is OK because I am working out.  I read that in an article today actually.  I'll skim it back a bit and see what happens.

Thanks!

1200 is the ultimate minimum that an adult, small sedentary woman should eat to lose weight. If you work out 5x/week, you need to eat more.

Unfortunately, many doctors get very little nutrition and weight loss training while in med school.

That is what I thought, and that is why I do eat more, but I keep gaining..gaining...gaining.  I tried Upping my calories, and I gained more, I lessened them and gained less... on 1400 to 1600 I am kinda steady, but not losing, and I do gain a little.  It is so BIZARRE!  This has been going on for MONTHS.

well burn meter for you says 1520 on sed. days so I would say maybe on days you don't work out stick to 1200 and on days that you do work out if your burning 500 or so then up it to 1400-1500.  I bet you would start to see results.
