TV Show you just can't miss
What's the tv show you just can't miss each week and why? Mine right now are Lost and the Office. Both make time disappear when I watch them. In fact, I was out of town so off to watch last wednesday's Lost. ![]()
i do have faith in joss - pun totally intended. i just wish eliza would learn to act. she's gotten better, but it seems to me that whenever she's playing caroline, she's playing eliza. or tru. or faith on a really, really good day. or that dead chick in lost souls. it's all the same.
you should check out saving grace. it's totally brave and irreverent. and holly hunter kicks ass.
Eliza cannot act. The best she does is go all spacey when she's just Echo.
Did Tru Calling ever have a conclusion or did it just disappear?
I'll try to remember to add Saving Grace to my Netflix queue, if I get around to getting Netflix - so by then it'll be on DVD.
Yeah that was my point about the ad - it doesn't really represent the coolness of the show. Recommend you give it a watch. :)
yeah, it's funny how she's better as vacant echo (and as some of the fake identities, too) than she is when she plays the actual "character." but did you ever see That Night, her first movie? she was totally endearing in that, wee little thing.
tru calling just disappeared. deservedly. but tru's mother was played by jennifer halley, who played seelix on BSG ;) she's an old friend of mine. too bad seelix ended up being such a bigot.
i love the vancouver shows.
still find myself watching Apprentice - especially now that Jesse James has made his realty show comeback. :)
Currently my unmissable TV show is "The Wire" ...missed it first time round, now I'm hooked on the UK re-runs.
uggh so many good shows, so little time. I forgot to include Burn Notice in my original selection
The Wire - sooo good. Omar and McNulty are great characters! highly recommened if you can stand the cursing.
Flight of the Conchords - it's business time!
I also like Top Chef.
Guilty pleasure = gossip girl
Jesse James is awesome! He totally he shatters the biker image. He's a very intelligent business man (self made) and he doesn't take any ****! He builds some kick **** bikes too!
How is gossip girl? I know my daughter loves it. I liked Flight of the Concourdes but haven't watched this year.
- Biggest Loser
- Lost
- Ugly Betty
- Top Chef
- House
- Law and Order (only the original version)
- Ghost Hunters (not GHI)
- The Daily Show
- The Colbert Report
- Fringe
- I miss Stargate Atlantis, it used to be my favorite
- Prison Break
- Monk
- Without a Trace
- So You Think You Can Dance (hope its on again this summer!)
- The Closer
- American Idol (I hate it, but it sucks me in damn it!)
Thats all I can think of. We don't watch anything on the night it is programmed. We always record on the dvr and watch later. That way we can fast forward the commercials.

Bowie wise, i know he's not in it but I love conchords bowie episode :P but conchords wise nothing trumps if that's what your into for me :P
There's loads of shows I love watching over n over like scrubs, and black books and green wing. unfortunately when it comes to British television, you very rarely get a really good sitcom that lasts more than 3 series :( saying that though, we do have peep show! 6 series' now I think.
GAVIN & STACEY! Oh ye gods I love that show but It's only had like 2 series' thus far and they only have 6 or 7 episodes in :(
Big bang theory another american gem I cannot miss.
oh and how did I forget it? DOCTOR WHO! never miss it (it's just not on enough :( )
...I really watch far too much television, it's scaring me a little how do any of us manage to get any work done?

You seem very interested in the "circus" stuff. Are you a trapeze artist or something...j/k. Those adrenaline junkie shows are cool. The guys n gals are freaking nuts...how do they get up from that stuff? I would be like, breathing heavy "Okay, I can't see my elbow, all ten fingers, no bones sticking out anywhere, my name is Joe...my name is Joe isn't it? I'll see you guys at the bar"!!!!!

Wow! I do watch too much TV. I don't watch anything on the night it is programmed, I record on the DVR so I can fast forward through the commercials. I have gotten spoiled with that.
True Blood, Damages, Mad Men, and Lost especially now that it's all about time travel! fun fun! oh and Housewives of NYC! and my beloved reruns of Sex in the City!
