Just Had Twin Girls February the 5th

Quote  |  Reply

I just had twin girls on February the 5th. They weighed 5 pounds 7 ounces and 6 pounds even. They are now 10 weeks. I started out at 120. I delivered at 170. Now i am 140 and cant look at myself in the mirror. My normally flat stomach has fat on it. I didnt get any stretch marks but I am not use to the fat around my midsection. So I am just wondering if there is anyway to get rid of it quickly??

I know how you feel. My third son is also 10 weeks old and was born February 9th. He was born 8 pounds 4 ounces. I started at 136 and delivered at 168. I am now at 129 and with stretch marks! Before I had my first child in 2001, I was 105. I am still trying to work back to my original weight give or take a few pounds. I am not so much worried about losing the weight, but toning it and gaining muscle instead of fat. Eating less fatty foods and nursing is what has been helping me lose all the pregnancy weight along with cardio and weight training. I've actually been using the wii fit in combination with Hip Hop Abs and the Total Gym 1700 Club. Once I tone my body and get the ideal measurements I want, I will most likely get a tummy tuck to get rid of the stretch marks and whatever fat I can't get off by exercising. I don't know of any miracle way to lose it quickly, but so far what I've been doing is helping me. I hope this helps you even a little.

I'm gunna jump in the boat to because my son is now 10 weeks old and I have lost 15 pounds. I started at 145 I never lost my weight from my first son!!! Blah but I gave birth at 160 came home at 142... Now I'm 127!! I have been doing it by nursing counting calories big time!! I get low fat everything, plus a low fat diet is heart healthy!! I just got those special k crackers where you can eat 17 and its only 90 calories I dip the in fat free cottage cheese or 1/3 fat cream cheese, as a snack or a side at lunch instead of chips. I eat a fruit in the morning with black coffee at 7 than at 9 or ten have fat free milk 1/2 cup and harvest morning 1 cup cereal. I also have cut up cucumber with skin on and pour vinegar over, a particle no cal snack and it gets ride of the chip carving or if you're just bored it is and go to eat it is good to snack on cucumbers or pickles, less pickles because of the high sodium. I have low crab pitas that I put an ounce of roast beef in, light mayo, and Dijon mustard! Than all I have to say are veggies!!! Green beans really fill me up as a side and are calorie friendly I try to stay away from corn; potatoes aren't too bad as long as you do not load them up with butter and watch your portion sizes. If I eat pasta I have a serving size with a salad as a first course and cottage cheese on the side so that fills me up and I can eat less pasta!! A lot of articles I have read say that choc. Carvings are just your body being depressed or your lacking something but I got to tell ya mine are that I just want that heavenly melty sweet stuff!! Lol I have m&ms in the house and I take half of 1/4 of a cup about 100 cals. And just eat of at a time letting them melt in the mouth it takes me about 25 minutes to eat it!! It is all about enjoying the food you are eating but eating reasonably so your body won't want to binge!! Sorry for the long post hope some of the things that helped me can help you!!
