Yahoo, my son has been potty training for months now and for the past week and a half he has been in undies. We have not had an accident in almost a week!! I think he is the type that likes to pee at home, it seems he can hold it for a really long time. i wish!!

That's great!  I know you said he's 2, but how many months is he?  My son turned two last month, and potty training is coming along slowly.  He likes to sit on the potty, but then he won't actually go.  He does like to shut the lid and flush, though!  He seems to have the idea, he's just not quite there yet.

Woo Hoo!  Smile

COngrats.  My DS was out of diapers by Two, but officially done by 2.5.  He hated diapers so lets just say I had A LOT of messes to deal with.

I think Potty training puts a parent through their paces far too early.

Yes, i agree. m y son is 27 months old and we still have the occational accident. i swear since i have become a mom i can not spell anymore....ugh.

he still wears pull-ups for nap(if he has one) and bedtime.

i think it helps to have a potty for the toilet that is his/her favourite color or cartoon. ours is the back yardigans. it helped that he picked it out. also, he has been playing with his potty ( floor one) since he was 1.5 years old.

:) have a great day!! Still snowing in Calgary is spring ever comming!!

Oh what a happy day when potty training is not long a matter of constantly reminding them "hey need to go potty?"

My 2 yr girl is in training pants. It's super annoying  I have to take her in every stinking public restroom we encounter. At home she's doing good but, not as good as she used to. patience patience patience.

1 potty trained 1 to go!

So glad someone having success! Laughing

Congrats to your son. My daughter, 2.5 years old, is just at the end of her potty training.  Once a week she has an accident but they are getting farther and farther apart. She does wear pull ups at night but 95% of the time she wakes up dry and if she happens to fall asleep during the day she will wake up dry (she quit taking naps at 2). It is nice to get them out of diapers isn't it? My son was 3 before I could get him to potty train.
