Well here I am again, two weeks after I started this 1500 calorie diet.
The good news is that I have lost 11lb in two weeks and down to 209 lb, only 70 something to go. The first week was difficult and I found myself hungry regularly but as every day passes it's getting easier. Hoping to lose another 4 or 5lbs this week, although we are entertaining guests on Wednesday which might make things difficult. Still, very happy with progress so far.
Hello, Alex! Wondered where you went. Great job on the 11 pounds! If the hunger really becomes an issue, you might take your calorie goal up 100-200, then bring it back down after you (slowly) lose another 20-30 lbs. I recently quit smoking, so I've gone backwards a little bit. However, I expected that, and I'm not concerned since I can toss that weight again.
