I recently got some boot camp tybo (not sure if thats how you spell it) DVDs. I know this should be on the exercise post, but I was wondering if you lose much wieght from working out like that. I just got them and havn't tried it yet. Is tybo a good exercise for gaining muscles and maintaining your wieght? I want to tone up. Anyone who knows anything about it, your advice is appreiciated!

i've lost about 20 lbs and toned nicely from his workouts. you NEED to include the resistance bands though. without them it's a wimpy workout. good luck.
I just ordered one of those videos. Thats good to hear.
Tae Bo is really great for cardio, and there are some videos that incoroporate resistance bands for muscle toning. The Fat Blasting Cardio combines the resistance bands with cardio, so it a great workout.
Even if you just stick with cardio workouts, there's always the option of using weighted gloves to make them more challenging for your arms.
I've lost over 30 pounds with Tae Bo as my main source of a cardio workout, with my waist being the most effected area - although the squats incorporated into some of the workouts has also made a noticable difference in my backside and thighs.
I highly recommend them!

If you don't use the bands is it a bad workout? I get exhausted and i don't even have them, but I have the same DVD's youre talking about and love them. Is it really not worth it without them?
Yes, I have the bands. Thanks for the posts! :)
yes tae bo bootcamp is a great workout! I agree with everyone. I've been using it for years.
manda...As far as the bands go, take your time getting there. I lost weight and toned up not using the bands. In fact, the original tae bo had no bands and was still very effective. Once you get used to the bands and try it without it though it really does feel like your not doing anything. I now use the elite bands with weights inside them and the original bands do nothing for me.
