I have lost 4 pounds in a week and a half.  I will say though I just had a baby 3 months ago...so I think its easier for me to get that new fresh weight off.  It will be that stubborn 25 lbs that is going to make me work for it!  =)
15.1 pounds in a month.  I eat less than I burn (not to be flip, but that's what I do).  I eat between 1500-1700 calories, I burn (on days when I work out) about 2500-2800.  I eat less on days I don't work out, more on the days I do.
50 lbs in 9.5 months, 13 to go. Eating smaller portions, no fast food, no soda, no (added) salt...tons of water. Started walking, now running on treadmill and weights. Good luck, I found the first 2 weeks the hardest and then it was easier after that.
I've lost 65 lbs since January 2007
7 lbs. in 3 weeks.  I exercise for 30 minutes a day for 7 days a week.  I eat 4 small meals a day, breakfast is always the same (3 egg whites, cottage cheese, and toast).  I cut out junk food and don't eat out anymore.  If I don't know how many calories a certain food has, I don't eat it.
33 pounds in 3 months.  I am taking a more moderate approach however, walking 45 minutes or so 5-6 days a week, calorie counting and trying to stick to whole grains and leaner protein as much as possible.  However, I allow myself things as situations warrant, so I don't feel deprived.  Good luck on your start-you will do great here at CC!

30 pounds in 6 months, i'm a slacker (minimal exercise).  i too cut out the junk and soda (the soda makes me crave other 'fun' food).  my goal is 400 calories per meal with 3 meals a day  (i would spread out breakfast and lunch so i'd be eating all day)

now i've been gaining and loosing the last 2 pounds for weeks now  AARRRG!

good luck! and welcome to the rest of your life!

Ive been on CC for 4 weeks now, and i just now lost 3 pounds!  Im so excited!  only 25.9 more to go.   My best advise, make small goals, daily, weelky, etc.  My daily goals are to not go over my calories for the day, and my weekly goal was to lose 1 pound.  Instead I lost 3!!!!!!!!
65 lbs, tomorrow will be 13 months since I started.

I've stopped eating any processed foods for the most part, have cut back most of my dairy (but thats more because I feel better when I avoid dairy) and have learned how to cook for myself. I've cut back to 1200 calories + what I burn exercising. I go offtrack occasionally, and treat myself sometimes to lots of my old faves. I do have a small portion of chocolate or chips occasionally and try not to feel guilty about it. I started exercising regularly in May and now do an average of 60 minutes of exercise a day (some days none, usually 45-60 min and 3 hours on friday)

April 1st was the first day of the dreaded scale.....  I was at 163  OUCH!!!!!!  Now today  (9-17-07)I weighed in at 130 WHHOOO HOOO!!!!     The first two months were great I lost 22lbs then.  After that I kinda started to cheat and over ate.  Now I am back in order.  No longer am I lying on my drivers license....lol   I have have only a few more pounds to go tell my happy goal weight...lol   I exercise everyday for at least 30 min.  Monday and Friday I have a trainer that is teaching me how to use the machine.  If you need any advice you can contact me anytime...

TA TA!!!

June 15th was day one for me -  weighed in at 188 on that day.  I am currently 168 (20 pounds lost for the math challenged!) and am LOVING my new body... I still have some curves, and still have 28 pounds to lose!

I started by slowly adjusting my calorie intake, and working out with a trainer.  I am building muscle, and losing the fat!!! I Love Calorie-Count!
I've lost 18lbs in 7 weeks.

How I do it is pretty simple I eat no processed foods, a lot of fruit and veggies and I work out at the gym weight and cardio, plus Pilates and Tai Chi once a week.
I have lost 109.5 lbs in 7 months.  I quit drinking soda, started exercising 3 x a week and am trying to eliminate as much processed food as possible.  I do still eat processed food, but just not every day.  I still have alot more weight to lose, but I am feeling great and pushing on!
OH MY GOD.

Kellygreen u mean you lost 109 lbs in 7 months?! or do you mean you are 109.5 lbs now??? THATS AWESOME!! well done and congratulations!
19 pounds since sometime midsummer, 10 of which came off after coming here 8/3/07.

Fresh fruits ( 3 servings minimum)

Raw and cooked, fresh vegetables (6 servings minimum)

6 ounces (+/- 2 servings) of lean meat/chicken/fish/beans/nuts per day

2 servings of low fat dairy per day

1-2 servings of whole wheat grains per day ( I keep this to a mimimum as I tend to binge on grains...)

Food items are logged and an effort is made to eat all food groups and average 1200-1400 calories per day.

Just implimented 300 minutes of brisk walking per week which for this 53 year old is 3.0 to 3.5 mph.  Today I walked 54 minutes.  Saturday, it was 70.  Sunday was only 20.

My week runs Friday to Thursday as I weight myself once a week on Friday AM.
I've lost 9.2lbs in 18 days... :D
I eat 1300 calories in junk food and half-assedly exercise every day.
I've lost 12 lbs in about 8 weeks...counting, counting, counting...Oh and exercise at least 3 days a week

Since the beginning of July until the end of August: 9lbs

Aug. 31 (when I started CC) until today: 6.6lbs

In total: 15.6lbs

I eat 1700 calories/day and I work out 3 days a week at the Y, as well as walking to and from college (15 minutes each way), as well as from class to class. Who needs a stairmaster when you have real stairs, haha.
