"The Forest House" by Marion Zimmer Bradley.  Apparently it's the prequel to "The Mists of Avalon" (which I haven't read).  It's pretty decent!

pgeorgian---that doesn't sound so bad!  :-)

better than The Sage Handbook of Quantitative Research!

i'm reading the mists of avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. i am in love with it!
I am reading Lovely Bones by Alice Seobold.

I recently finished that. I thought it was hugely overrated.

I'm reading "Love in the Time of Cholera" right now. It's not drawing me in. I'm saving "Middlesex" and "I Am America (And So Can You)" for my 30 hours of travel headed back States-side in two weeks.

Hmm...i like it so far... :)

"middlesex" is awesome. Its a long slow read but worth it...

Doomsday Book by Connie Willis....for the eleventy hundreth time.

i wouldn't exactly say i liked the lovely bones, but it definitely struck a chord with me.  i cried from beginning to end.  but that was just where i was at the time.  i doubt that i'd appreciate it on second reading; too much of a stretch for a hardened atheist like me ;)

I didn't hate "Lovely Bones"... just thought it was overrated.

And I'm really excited to read "Middlesex". I've heard nothing but great things. Plus, the whole subject matter of the book I find incredibly interesting.

Summer Sisters - Judy Blume

Armageddon's Children - Terry Brooks

Happiness is a Choice - not sure about the author, it's a book about depression

Queste - Angie Sage (kid's book)

Edit: Ditto on the idea that Lovely Bones was overrated.  It wasn't nearly as good as I thought it would be but it was a haunting, moving story with solid writing.

have u read "Five people you meet in Heaven" by Mitch Albom. Thats a book that has stuck with me for a long time...I love the way it says tat Heaven might just be a place that you loved on earth...I am agnostic so i really buy that idea Laughing

Gone Tomorrow.  It's about garbage.

I'm reading Everyday Sacred by Sue Bender.  Very thoughtful.

The Power of Intention by Wayne Dyer
