What are u reading now?
I am reading Lovely Bones by Alice Seobold. Its got me hooked. What about u guys? Reading anything interesting.
I'm reading "I Became a Christian and All I Got Was This Lousy T-Shirt". It's one of the best books I've ever read.
I'm reading Tweak by Nic Sheff, and its probably the most amazing book i've ever read.
I have a whole list of books I'm going to read, so I might as well post a few of them.
Currently, I am reading a book called Inkheart, which I bought years ago and never read. I found it on my shelf, felt guilty for having made my mom spend money on it, so I'm reading it now. So far, it's okay, but not the greatest. Just okay.
The Secret Life of Bees & Inherit the Wind (for school summer reading)
Hiroshima (The front cover reads, "Everyone able to read should read it", so I will)
The Amulet of Samarkand (My brother told me to read it about 2 years ago, so I'm finally getting to it)
Wuthering Heights
Je veux vivre (I want to live) It's a french book
A few suggestions of books I really loved:
The Outsiders - It's not too long, but it's truly excellent. I had a wonderful time reading it.
Middlesex - Definitely a must. The story is based on something rather interesting, and although it took a while to read, it was worth it.
Memoirs of a Geisha - It's a great narrative. It's actually my favorite book right now. I just fell in love with the characters, and I found extreme pleasure in reading about the lives of some Japanese women in the 30s.
TWILIGHT!!!!!!
OMG you have to read this book! its addicting! i can barely put it down! its about a girl who falls in love with a vampire...but its so much more than that!!!

^^ bahah that sounds like an awesome read! :D
i'm in the midst of "animal, vegetable, miracle" - barbara kingsolver (anything b.kingsolver is amazing)
and also just began "the dawn patrol" - don winslow .. so far so good - sounds like an entertaining read - will make me want to paddle out to a lineup and get back out on the water :)
"In Defense of Food" by Micheal Pollan. Very interesting.

i've heard only good things about that book - i've been meaning to pick it up myself
I'm not going so good with it. hahah I find it boring. I've read about 60 pages and haven't picked it up in about 2 weeks.
"Survivor" by Chuck Palahniuk
"New Theories of Everything" by John D Barrow
I just finished The Lovely Bones too. I enjoyed it. Her book Lucky was also good. Right now I'm reading The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things by "JT Leroy" (or whoever actually wrote it.) Interesting read, but depressing.
i just spent a couple hours last night at a book store shepherding my little sister to get the new twilight book, and i came out with a couple of good new reads..
the late bloomer revolution and fieldwork
both look good - field work is written by a younger author whose debut novel it is and who also qualified for the national book award or some such thing that warranted a bronze star sticker on the cover.
what do you all think of marian keyes?
The House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski.
If you haven't read it, go find a copy now and read it. Right now. Go to a bookstore and fight someone for a copy if you have to. Do it.
It's not my fault if it gives you nightmares though.

I loved this book sooo much. But the movie was such a let down.

i'm reading the mists of avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley. i am in love with it!
I read that one! Its awesome!!
I just finished The Wedding by Danielle Steel. It was also great..
I am a huge fan of her books
I just finished "The Middle Place" by Kelly Corrigan.
I work at a nonprofit organization for cancer support, & Kelly was a speaker at one of our conferences.
The book's all about her journey with breast cancer & her dad's simultaneous journey with cancer as well. "The Middle Place" is that time when you're still a child with your parents to worry about, yet you also have kids of your own.
Anyway, I really loved the book. She has a great style & it's an extremely interesting/humorous read.
Just Play Ball by Joe Garagiolla-
I enjoy watching baseball and am not a real into the game but this book is a real light hearted fun read on the sport.
I just finished Frankenstein and before that Swiss Family Robinson. I am now on to Moby Dick! (Wish me luck).

I'm reading the fourth book in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I'm so hooked that I'll definitely be getting the rest of the 12-book series (I've obviously read the first three as well).
It has to be one of the best fantasy series I have read in a long time .. too bad he died before finishing the final book .. I hope it gets finished by someone and published!
"Wrath of a mad god" by Raymond E Feist
