I feel horrible, today we went to the mud bog and I was doing soo good..
I had a banana and grapes for breakfast and for lunch I had 2 ham sandwhiches..then my family bought the dreaded McDonalds. -_-
and now i'm up to 2,377 calories today..opposed to my 1,800 calorie diet.
What should I do?
You think you were bad??? I went to golden corral buffet and I am at about 3000 calories today!!!(as opposed to my 1700) EEEEEEKKKKK! I guess all we can do is get back on track tomorrow, and in the long run....we won't even notice :)
Shake it off. Tomorrow's another day.
Many people forget that fast food doesn't disappear just because we decide to go on a diet. You, like the rest of us, need to find a way to fit the occasional blammo calorie foods into our lifestyle.

Try to do some exercice today, maybe a long walk, or go for a run, or biking or just dance on some music ..
And of course, get back on track tomorrow. It's okay to have some weak moments like those, just make sure they don't last more than one day ;)

This always happens to me-- and always throws me off. I really think that the important thing is to keep in mind that tomorrow is a new day and you don't have to give up your whole diet because of one day. (Um, I guess I tend to overreact, but..still. :P)
me too it was my husband's 40th birthday so I told him he could go eat wherever he wanted so he picks mexican. I tried to be good I was just going to have chips and salsa and he gave me the look like he felt bad he didn't pick a better place to eat sooooooo I ordered chicken fajitas. I only ate one and a half and with just chicken and onions on it but I still feel awful. If that wasn't bad enough they bring him this huge apple carmel icream desert for his b-day and I had 3 bites then I poured water all over it when he was done so I couldn't eat it oh yeah great tip there if you find yourself saying you are done eating and u are full and everybody else at the table is still eating to keep from picking at the food still on your plate dump something on it like catsup lol or salt so you won't be temped :) Oh well tomorrow is a new day and hubby works all day so I will be on the treadmill and do some yoga most of the day. They recommend that you change up the amount of calories you eat within the week to keep your metabolism revved. This McD's run could actually benefit you, but what you need to do now is just not eat as many calories throughout the week and you should even it out and be alright. Don't beat yourself up over it, just learn from your mistake and do damage control.
don't worry to much about it :) everyone has their days where they splurge a little. last week i knew that i was going to have mcdonalds for supper (mom was sick, dad not home) so i made sure to look on their nurtritional guide for something that was atleast manageable and within a decent amount of calories for supper. i actually ended up being under my calories for the day!
you just have to be concious of the meal, if your getting mcdonalds then have something small, coke zero or diet coke, or even a water with it. then if your hungry later you can have a healthy snack :D
I'm in the same boat. 787 calories over my weight loss calories.
Tomorrow I shall be a stronger person.
I've done it too. Probably over 2000 cals over my usual limit. But as everyone says tomorrow is another day and I am SO determined to be extra specially, wonderfully good this week that I am sure I won't see bad things on the scales next monday!!
