im from the east midlands. hello!

Hi Chris - here's another from the UK - click my name to see my mini bio - like you, hoping this site will help! Undecided

I live in Bristol with my husband, but home is San Francisco.  We are moving back next summer and I can't wait!
vanillivi-26 Hi! i'm from east midlands too! I'm a Nottingham kid, you?

I wish. My dream is to visit or even live there. Just got finished watching Catherine Tate, actually.

"What a f*****g liberty!!!" Your comedy puts American comedy to shame.

From what I hear, I probably couldn't afford cab fare in London, it's so pricey...

Yay britsh people!

Yeah, I'm in suffolk and very pleased to see English people. Not that i have anything against people of any other nationality, it's just ya'know, yay UK!

udokier, one of the reasons we can't wait to get out of here is the cost of living is ridiculous.  And I say that coming from San Francisco, one of the most expensive US cities to live in!

Oh and of course the weather, we both hate it.  Even though my brit husband is used to it, he loves sunny California!

We lived in SF for a few years (the Richmond, right by Park Presidio & Geary) and we both loved it, although the cost of living about did us in.  My wife complained about the year-round chill, fog and breezes, but I LOVED the climate there, loved the fog, it was great for my sinuses.  Japan is all right from October until about May, but the summers here are hellishly muggy.  There are pluses and minuses to both places, but I do miss SF, (despite that I had to step over bums to leave my house sometimes).

If I had all the money in the world, there's nothing I'd like better than a little place in the woods up around the Russian River or the Santa Cruz mountains- heaven on earth!

LOL!  I lived in Boulder Creek for 6 years!  Absolutely gorgeous area, and great hiking!

SF is ridiculously expensive, but without kids it's easier.  I also love the fog, one of my favorite things is listening to the fog horns blow out by the gate.  We are moving back next summer, not sure what area we will live in yet.  I was in Potrero Hill for 2 years and loved it.

Anywho, sorry for the hijack!  Back to the UK chat!

Essex girl here :)
I'm in Coventry.  Hi people. :o)

I'm not, but I'm a major Anglophile.

I hope to perhaps one day live in the UK, or at least study abroad there.

Me - I'm from Falkirk in Scotland
Meeeeee! Brighton!
I'm from Ayr/St Andrews in Scotland, depends on the time of year where you'll find me ;]
