Um... a little help?

Ok, I'll paint the picture for you: being so late in the day that I get out of classes, I pretty much finished my eating for the night, leaving me about 200 calories for any snacks I might want later. I get a ride home from my uncle, and in the past, I've gone to Burger King with said uncle.

Tonight, he pulls up, and I get in the car, and he hands me a large vanilla milkshake, valued at about 800 calories. Now, the past 2 times I've attempted to diet, I let temptation get to me, and I never went back to dieting. I'm home now, staring at the milkshake, not sure what to do. I could split the milkshake so that it's a smaller portion, something I can deal with. I could throw it away, but my uncle lives in the same house, and I'd rather not make him upset. Temptation is getting to me though... eee, what to do...?

I know this seems juvenile, but it's only my second day of trying again, and I don't want to blow it over Burger King!

Split the milkshake into 3.  Freeze two for later and have one now.

...and let your uncle know that your watching what you eat and you appreciate it very much but would rather have ONE treat a month or whatever...im sure he will understand.

Dump some in the bathroom sink..in a sneaky fashion...what you can't see can't tempt you.

Wow, I'm surprised! 15 minutes, and 3 replies already! I'm gonna start coming here more often, but in the... what's it called? The Lounge section?

runningbuns, while your idea is pretty good, I'd feel really guilty if I went and poured it down the drain after my uncle bought it with me in mind. Thank you for the advice, though! ^.^

I'm going to take your advices, smwhipple and chantale1985. I can't keep hiding my diet forever, and I am in the mood for some milkshake. Thank you so much, guys! ^.^

Update: My uncle completely understood that I was on a diet, and I had a third of the order. I'm actually over by 150 cals or so, but hey, you win some, you lose some, huh? Thanks again for the advice, everyone!

KILL IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would pour it down the drain.
