There are not many groups for younger people, I guess because we're kind of the minority on this site (or so it seems at least). Further, I have never seen a group to really motivate those who are both young, with more than a little shaping up to do (10-15 lbs)

Wow, this group seems like a great motivator!!! When ever I look at the other posts, it seems as though everyone is a pro-weight loser (the best kind of loser to be).

Workout/ Diet Plans: 1000 cal deficent (seems extreme but its feels kind of easy when you say you have to eat 1550 cals instead of you can only eat 1550 cals) partnered with walking, jogging, and rugby conditioning.

Biggest Motivation: I just got proposed to. While the wedding might not be in a few years, I really want to look my best in a wedding gown. And I want to look my best for my fiance; but I also want to just feel comfortable in my own skin.

Enigma, I know exactly what you mean! I get the "pretty face" bit all the time, too. "Oh, you're so pretty, you don't even need to wear makeup!" Like it would make any difference when I'd need to lose about half my entire weight to look normal anyway! Here's hoping we can go from being the girls with the "great personality" that few people actually want to date to being the ones that everyone's after!

hi girls! idk right now i just got done with my treadmill exercises. i do jogging for 2 min (5.0 mph) then walking for 1 then 2 jogging until it tells me i burned 100 cals, and same for the afternoon but during afternoon i dance for about 20 minutes or so, then sometimes in the evening i do the samething but only when i feel like it lol i know i should do it but sometimes i just don't feel like it.
haven't weighed my self since 2 weeks so i wouldn't get disapointed if i gained because last time i did i had gained a pound. everyone else told me it was cause i was exercising but i have been for a while now! and some told me cause water retension! but it was a wk before i got my period!?!?!? i have no clue but i will weigh my self monday when i get of my period.
Girls we have to be skinny! KEEP LOSING THOSE POUNDS!

Oooh new motivation for me, I may be able to take my final year of university in queensland australia, and I would just die if I was surrounded by all of those wonder beaches and I couldn't go on them!

I know exactly what you mean. I am also excited to say that I am now 1.5 pounds lighter! Yay!!! Only about 20 pounds 'til Rugby!!
well so i should weigh in a week before starting, but since today was saturday, i checked. and apparently am at 164.4 now! yay <3 it's probably water retention, but seeing the scale budge a bit gives me happiness.
