Hi.
There are not many groups for younger people, I guess because we're kind of the minority on this site (or so it seems at least). Further, I have never seen a group to really motivate those who are both young, with more than a little shaping up to do (10-15 lbs)

I'm used to weigh-ins on Friday. ^.^ Double weekly weigh-ins. Not too bad. A nice comparison between groups for myself.

I haven't binged exactly today I've just been snacking all day. I have not been unhealthy. I've been incorperating fruits and vegetables in as much as I can. =3
I guess I will be the first one to weigh in today......

Beginning weight: 160 (very close estimate)

Today's weight:  151 !!!!!!!!!!!

I am so happy about this. This is the first time that I've dieted and actually knew that I could go all the way. It feels great!
Well I didn't have time to weigh in yesterday, I literally woke up 10 minutes before I had to leave for work.  My three month old wanted to play at 1 in the morning...not fun he slept way to much during the day.  But I did weight in yesterday :)

Starting weight: 196.6

Current weight (as of 7/23) 193!  wahoo

Total weight loss: 17 pounds

I upped my 30 min elliptical workout to 40 mins on Sunday and actually found it very easy, thank goodness for a tv and dvd playing in the exercise room.

My motivation is to get a flat stomach and thinner thighes like I used to have when I was in highschool playing volleyball. I have started running everyday during the week and I think that is going to make a big difference. I was also considering taking the new Alli diet pills. Does anyone have any information about them?
Hey everyone! Here's my weigh in for this week:

I'm up a pound since last week which is frustrating. I hope it's just because my period is coming soon. Also, I'm at the point in my diet (about 5 weeks in) where I'm starting to lose the hardcore motivation that I had in the beginning. I'm hoping that I can stick with it until I reach my goal, because I know it'll take a while to lose those 20 pounds.

I've had a pretty awful past few days.

I had some family to visit, and I guess you could say I over indulged.

I'm way too scared to weigh this week.

Hello everyone, I'm just getting started here and I hope there's more room for the under-25 club :)
Anyways, here are my stats:

Goal (I am going by the CC calculation for a healthy BMI) 130lbs

Biggest Motivation: To know what it's like to see my toes instead of my tummy when I look straight down...ha ha. To be healthy and fit is more like it :) And to be a more confident with my appearance.

Motivation: I want my athletic body back from when I was in high school.  I want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and smile because I earned the body I have, not setteled for it.   And if my b/f ever gets off his lazy ass and proposes then I want to look amazing in my wedding dress!

Long term = 120. Short term (1st mini goal) = 160.
I got a scale, and it turns out I weigh just about exactly 360 pounds right now. I know I didn't weight that much at the beginning of the summer (or ever), and the only thing that was different between then and now (other than starting to count calories and exercise 2 weeks ago) is being put on depo provera. None of my clothes fit any different, and I don't really feel different, but the numbers have definitely gone up. I know that weight gain is a side effect of the medication, but it's working so well that I don't want to go off it again! I'm due for my next shot in one month, so I guess I'll talk to my doctor about it then. Over the few days I've had the scale, though, it looks like I am losing weight (on my good days: cousin's wedding this week, so lots of big family dinners) in spite of the medication. I wonder if it would go faster if I went off it, or if I should just keep going?
