underweight but belly flab
ok, iv posted before as i think i have ED, i weigh like 40kg and my height is 5''2 so im really underweight. i eat around 1200 cals (constantly worried if i eat more ill put on fat) and exercise everyday at the gym with cardio for 60mins followed by abdominals.
i really donot want to loose any more weight as i am skinny all over except for the belly flab (bellow the belly button). like skinny fat.i dont know what to do as this is so annoying and frustrating. any advice will be appreciated. and its not body image issues but i really have belly flab.

Do crunches. Your tummy area should eventually tone up. Don't overdo, though - you might get abs that stick out.
Do core strength exercises, such as the plank. These suck your tummy in and give you better posture - you definitely don't have to be underweight to have a flat tummy.
What you're looking at isn't 'flab' but more likely to be loose skin - like a saggy balloon with the air let out..... Your skin is basically too big for your badly shrunken body. If you got up to a healthier weight (BMI 19 or 20) things would improve. People recommending crunches or planks are missing the point... and so are you. But I've told you all this before.
With a BMI of 16 you need medical attention quite urgently. I suggested this back on December 30th but you don't seem to have done anything. You're not just 'really' underweight you're 'dangerously' underweight. You do sound like you have serious eating problems and hospital treatment may be required to get you out of the danger-zone Over-exercising is another aspect that you seem to be suffering from and since your dangerously low weight puts you at real risk of heart-failure I think you're skating on very thin ice to be exercising at all. EDs kill a lot of people. Don't be one of them.
How can I make walking fun?
You have to find a way to make exercise fun or else you won't do it. If you walk indoors on a treadmill, I recommend moving outdoors into the fresh air... Read more
