Try not to take the comments to heart - the people are either concerned for you, in which case try and think of it as uplifting that there are people who care, or they are jealous, in which case, pay them no mind!
Keep on rocking
according to your BMI, yes you would be considered underweight. But BMI is not a very good measurement of one's health. Someone could have an "overweight" BMI like 30, but if they are a body builder and pure muscle would you actually think that they are fat?
I would say, that if you are eating enough calories everyday to be healthy, and not purposily restricting or starving yourself, and if you have your period and are healthy overall then I think you are fine.
Hi Hols,
I would suggest go about eating your normal food. If you don't already, start to list/keep track of your calories say for a week (don't change anything just list). This way you can make sure you are eating enough.
If you don't reach your proper calorie count, make the proper adjustments. (you can still do it with healthy food)
I work out alot and truly had no idea how much I really needed to eat. CC really enlightened me, and put me on the right track.

I mean is that a issue that i dont enjoy eating sweets? please help , so confused and i want to make sure im not right ?
I think your weight sounds perfect. According to my doctor, on average women should weigh 95 pounds for the first 5 feet of height, and another 4 pounds for each additional inch. His standard comes out a little lower than using BMI, however, he has found that it is common for people with normal BMI to still have an excess of fat. In particular, excess belly fat is considered to be a known health risk.
My doctor is a nationally recognized expert on optimal nutrition and diet, as well as a former world class athlete. If you talked to him he would tell you that your weight is perfect, and that the reason people tell you that you are too thin is because compared to a population which is overweight, a normal weight person actually does look thin.
This is what I don't understand. When a person is normal or a good, thin weight, then why do people go around calling non-stick-thin celebrities fat?
Mmkay, back to the topic, lol. Do you mind posting your age? I hate to ask, but the weight of a healthy 12 year old is way different than the weight of a healthy 25 year old. So without knowing your age, we can't really determine if your weight is healthy.
I find myself to be in the same boat as you a lot. It seems like if you're watching what you're eating and not overweight, people automatically jump to the conclusion that you have an eating disorder. Wanting to look and feel the best that you can is not wrong, and as long as you're being good about it, it's not unhealthy.
That being said, it is easy to eat too little when you're watching what your eating. A while back I was in that situation. I started to cut back on what I was eating, but then I kept finding healthier replacements for everything, I was eating on the go a lot, and pretty soon I was eating under 1200 calories a day. So I second the person who gave the advice that you should just track what you're eating and make sure it's enough.
Lastly, listen to your body! You'll most likely feel it if you're not eating enough. Your body wants to be healthy, so just listen to what it wants. if you get cravings like I do, it your body trying to tell you that it wants more of a certain nutrient.
