Unhealthy ? 8yogurts a day

Hey guys, I have entered maintanence mode after losing alot of weight pretty fast, about 13kg in 2 and a half months to be a bit more precise.

I'm 15 in about 3 weeks and I am about 164cm tall (Male).

Just last week i came out of hospital for an expected eating disorder, all is fine, i am eating what i enjoy making sure its healthy and thats what i want to keep at.

Well this yogurt i have been having is 175g and is 66 calories per tub, no fat and less then 1% added sugar. It's really nice and i always go out and get the strawberry one. So i was wondering today i had about 8 of them, all up alongside with my meals my calorie intake was about 1200kcals, which i know it should be heaps more but i just couldnt eat anymore.

So my question lies is it unhealthy and/or can you put on weight from having that much a day even though im under my recommended calorie intake ?

Thanks

Are you serious?  You state that you

  • came out of the hospital for an eating disorder
  • want to make sure what you're eating is healthy
  • want to know if you can put on weight
  • are under your recommended calorie intake
  • are taking in 1200kcals and know it should be more

It is obvious you should not be worried about strawberry yogurt.  At age 15, why are you even remotely trying to survive on 1200kcals a day?  Since you were in a hospital for an ED, surely some health professional gave you a meal/nutrition plan to follow.  If so, then follow it!  If not, then read some of the threads on Calorie Count about Weight Loss and Weight Gain. Also, Google things like:

  • healthy eating plans for teenagers
  • how many calories does a teenage male need
  • healthy foods for teenagers

Start the day with a really filling, healthy breakfast.  Eat several meals/snacks during the day.

Try this site to find out your BMI, etc.

how much do you weigh? 1500 calories is the minimum for WEIGHT LOSS and you shouldn't be losing so you should be eating more like 2500 calories to maintain. You ate almost half of your calories from yogurt...528 calories from yogurt, so that leaves 672 calories for food. You couldn't have possibly gotten all of the fat and grains that you need in a day with 672 calories so NO IT IS NOT HEALTHY...IT IS STARVATION!!  please review CC posting guidelines!
