United2gether - Happy 1 Year Anniversary as a member of C-C!!

I know I am a couple of hours early....

On March 16th, 2006 a friendly gal named Jules joined Calorie-count.com! Since joining Calorie-Count.com, Jules has been a constant source of diverse information and overwhelming inspiration. 

Jules was my first real, true honest friend here on Calorie-Count.com. She was there to listen, when I just wanted to throw in the towel and beat my head on the wall. She shared with all of us, her struggles and challenges, which then encouraged me to overcome my own obstacles.

Every word I read from Jules, either in her journal, in the comments of a friend's journal or here in the public forums is positive and uplifting. She gives me hope. And for me personally, that is very important. To have hope. To keep moving forward on this journey toward a healthier lifestyle, inside and out.   

What has amazed me most with Jules, is that even though she has a very busy personal life, within the past couple of days, I have read multiple journal entries from members here on Calorie-Count.com thanking Jules for helping them sort through an issue. It continues to impress me that even after a full year of being an active member here on Calorie-Count.com, that Jules is willing to make the time to give personalized attention to members in need of guidance and advice. Jules, girl... YOU ROCK!

So if you don't have united2gether on your friends list, I suggest adding her. Stop by her journal, say, "Hello!"

Happy Happy Anniversary Jules!    I thought you were here before me.  Imagine my suprise to find you are just not celebrating one year! 

To help kick this party in gear I putting out veggie and fruit trays for all to enjoy.  There is more than enough for everyone!

Happy anniuversary, Jules!!  I am so glad you are here and that we have made friends.  You thve truly been an inspiriation to me.

Aw thanks!  It's actually today, so right on time ;) 

~ it's been quite a year! I never expected to stumble into a safe-haven full of {{{friends}}} ~ who care enough to share the struggles, encourage each other on the good days and bad ~ share laffter, tears & smiles ~ to chat about the nitty gritty and the silly... to find {{{you}}}

it's been life-changing for me!

Jules you are seriously amazing. Every day I come on here and I wonder at the strength, the dedication, the persistance and the pure and genuine heart that you have. You support everyone in anyway that you can, whether it be by finding out education information, by offering motivation, a shoulder to cry on or even a swift kick in the pants.

I stand in awe of you awesomenicity.

You are an amazing woman. You're constantly working to overcome your life's obstacles with a smile on your face, a friendly {{{{{hug}}}}}} for all, and the occasional clue by four used sparingly.  You are a true friend to many and a wonderful teacher and the day that you arrived on Calorie-Count, one year ago, was a wonderful milestone for both the community, as a whole, and the many many many many people you've touched with your HUGE heart.  Thank you and may you be here for years and years longer :)

You are one of the main reasons that I stayed with C-C.  When I was ready to quit just a couple weeks in, you friended me to let me read your journals, gave great advice, and didn't let me give up on myself.  I know that I wouldn't be here if you hadn't reached out to me that way and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for that!  You are an inspiration to all!

You have time and time again inspired me and informed me.  From the hidden pounds that show up as we run through the cycle to the PMS Pacmanmunchettes.  You have shown me that we push and fall down but each time we push we teach our body a little more of the lesson and we become closer to our goals.

congratulations jules for your success here and in your own personal life. your postings in your journal are always inspirational, uplifting and colourful!! i love all your graphics and when you gave me a 'shout out', i felt so proud and special. it is people like you who keep me on this site, because without you, i am not sure i'd be able to embrace this lifestyle change.

What is there to say that hasn't been said already?  I wish you all the best in you journey to healthier living. You are truly inspiring and your journals were one of the reasons I decided to join CC. I am honoured to walk this journey in your company.

I think you set the standard around here. You seem to have almost unlimited enthusiasm, patience and kindness.  I know that you have your moments, but the amazing this is, you always manage to keep you eyes on the prize. You always come back to center and you help the rest of us do the same.
