I had unprotected sex without being on birth control and didn't take the Morning After Pill? What are the chances of pregnancy?

I WAS STUPID.

i realize that ahead of time. last friday i had unprotected sex (i was drunk) and basically i dont know if he pulled out or not. im not on birth control, i forgot to take the emergency contraception pill and now its more than 120 hours later. i havent gotten my period but i dont know if im late or not cause i cant remember my last period. tomorrow im planning on getting birth control, i heard that depo lowers your chances. does anyone know anyone to PREVENT pregnancy from this point out? im freaking out and its driving me crazy. its all im thinking about. im 16, i cant be pregnant. i was so stupid.

are you serious? ****.

edit: theres no way my parents are hearing about it which is why i asked here.

Fall down the stairs? You're pretty much screwed now, buddy.

EDIT: I just don't know what to tell you. It was a joking response, I don't want you to fall down the stairs but that really sucks, I just don't know of any methods to prevent to be honest :(

Wrong place to ask about this stuff.  Time to get professional help and talk with your parents.

Taking birth control now isn't going to do anything except cause possible defects in the fetus (if you even are pregnant).

You need to talk to your doctor. If you are pregnant, there's an abortion pill. I believe you can only take it early on.

...and for future reference, even if he did "pull out" that isn't a legit form of birth control.
There's something called precum.

I think you'll be okay. The worst thing you could do right now is stress out about it. Stress is known to delay a woman's period if she's under immense stress. My bf and I had sex for like 10 months using withdrawal and I never got pregnant. Plus there's only a 24-48 hour period a woman is most fertile so most likely, you're past the point... I Hope. Good luck in any case. I hope you feel better :)

P.S. Really... Don't stress about it...

So...your 16 having unsafe sex and drinking?... (haha sorry, not much else to say but "sigh*)

Put your last period and average cycle length into this ovulation calculator. Its not 100% guaranteed, but it should give you some indication of how fertile you were at the time. (green days = fertility, red days = period)

Edit: nvm, you cant remember your last period...

 I never did!

And I always track my periods! ....wait....what?

yeah seriously.. its not completely out of character for a 16 year old.

No, it's not at all, but I hope you have learned from now on to FORCE a man to wrap it up! :( Diseases/babies really aren't worth it!! :(

Don't do it again.

Errr...

I figured by this day and age unsafe sex would be out of character for anyone at any age. What the hell is sex ed teaching? The pull out method!? Really!?!?

IF you are pregnant, there is nothing you can do about it now EXCEPT an abortion pill/abortion. Go to your local Planned Parenthood and they will give you a pregnancy test.

IF you are not pregnant, do not make that mistake again.

I hear if you do it in the bathtub it doesn't count :D

OMG well do you at least remember who you did it with ...16 is so young to have unprotected sex or even be sexually active in the first place ...there are two thing to be worried about you might have an STI in some pregnancy most women get there period during pregnancyin the first tri your period might not be your period it'll be irregular that mostly fertalizion occuring you can only know after 8-12 week  if your truly pregnant your probably familiar with all the symptoms such as breast tenderness, morning sickness, and more so if i were you i'd get a pregnancy test and if you are then this is when only your parents can help you in this situation and it looks you havn't learned your lesson you plan to still get birth control to have sex i think that's a bad idea but that's your choice but i'd rather depend on the female condom or the male condom unless you want to get an STI or worse get pregnant birthcontrol isn't the bestchoice  to depend on it never works if not now maybe later you'll get preggers if use birthcontrol it's worth waiting for sex with that special someone rather then having random sex even though your not a virgin keep this up and you might get pregnant not be so lucky the next time

Yes, you were stupid.  Go see a doctor.

Being on birth control doesn't cause birth defects if you do happen to get pregnant despite taking it. After all, not many people know immediately that they are pregnant, and if they are on BC it's likely to be pretty unexpected. So if BC really caused birth defects, there would be a helluva lot of defective people around here.

Oh wait.

jblarghp, you're forgetting that in this country, it really depends on which school you went to. Some schools don't have a sex ed program at all. Others teach abstinence-only, some teach a comprehensive sex ed program (abstinence = best, but here's how to protect yourself from STD's and pregnancy if you have sex).

And honestly, more schools across the country teach abstinence-only, while emphazing the FAILURE rates of birth control methods like condoms and birth control pills, all the while being all like, "Don't you dare have sex," and making teens feel like condoms/birth control are useless anyway.

Yeah. It annoys the crap out of me that there ISN'T a mandatory sex-ed program across this country. My school had a good sex ed program, as it was comprehensive. Schools like mine aren't as common as they should be. =/

Yes

not really a question of odds at this point. . . you've just got to deal with it. Sooner rather than later for many reasons not the least of which is your own health.
