Really unsure about the amount of calories I need

I know I know. Punch in my stats and CC will tell me, but it's harder since we are teens. I'm on this site to make sure I get all of the nutrients I need and I cannot lose anymore weight, but I am looking to maintain.

I'm 15, 125 lbs, and a little over 5'9. I play varsity basketball so that's everyday starting in November until the end of February and that includes weight lifting 3-4 times a week with the team. Right now I run 4-5 miles a day, weight lift 2-3 times a week and practice basketball.

I'm burning anywhere from 400-800 calories a day and right now I am eating about 2400 to 2800. Is that enough? Too much?

That's actually perfecto, then! You're eating just the right amount to maintain. :D

Here's a site that can calculate the right amount of calories you should be getting if you ever need it: click~!

I would actually argue against that! Sorry, but I can eat 2900 calories with over 1 hour of exercise. Now here is a calculator that is really good!

2900? Yeah, I can defiantly see that. I used the calculator to see if they were eating enough myself, and I automatically assumed they had an activity level of about an hour everyday.  :0

I found this thread:

Perhaps OP should try that?
